I had a few issues with my nails and Kayla was patient and helpful working them out. The deluxe pedicure was definitely worth the money- so luxurious and relaxing! If you schedule online and you click Bayalage it states $80 for this particular stylist. When I asked how did it nearly triple she stated "well I mixed up 3 bowls of color". I saw those bowls as she was bringing them out, they were barely half full, so you don't mix enough on purpose so you can charge for 3-4 half bowls instead of 1-2 appropriate amount bowls. It was definitely a ploy to upcharge without a doubt, then she tells me it was also $30 for the "gloss" which she took upon herself to spray on my hair and never once said there was going to be an upcharge, this is the first time in my life where a salon used products automatically and then charged me for it (it's not like I got to take the bottle home or anything, $30 for a few spritz of whatever is outrageous). The worst part is I showed her a picture of how blonde I wanted my hair and it's not even close and she knew I wasn't happy with the color because when she saw the disappointed look on my face she said "the lighting in here makes it look different." I even asked if it would get lighter after a few washes and she said "Oh yea definitely" (it hasn't gotten lighter by the way and its been 3 weeks) and still waaayyyyy overcharged. I have had other services at this salon and the stylist I deal with for those is always upfront and super transparent and an overall joy to interact with as he is super easy to talk to and genuinely cares and remembers preferences from one visit to the next, so the place isn't trying to take advantage of people just Victoria, my advice STAY AWAY!!!!!!

At the end of my last indoor season I decided to reward myself after our league meet with a massage at Greek Isles. I kid you not, it REJUVENATED my broken body. I think the service runs about $70 for an hour of deep tissue massage, which is definitely not cheap, but it's a great way to treat yo'self. Michelle is super-professional and absolutely knows what she's doing. During the massage, ambient piano music plays, and the walls are covered in tulle and twinkly lights, so the room is dimly lit and relaxing as soon as you walk in. Just being in that vicinity made me feel more serene. Beyond the life-changing massage, the rest of the Greek Isles ~experience~ isn't half bad. The salon is adorable, the receptionists are friendly, and they offer tons of different services. It can be kind of difficult to get ahold of them, but once you do, it's super-easy to book an appointment.

Although the service was very polite and nice it took over THREE HOURS to get it all done. After the first two hours I started getting ancy looking at the clock every ten minutes. My boyfriend came with. Got so tired he slept in the car. Woke up after a nap to realize I'm still not finished. I'm giving two stars because 1 they were very nice/they spoke English and 2 they didn't just rip off my nails like others places have. The product was minimum, and the price was stiff. Most of the haircut she talked to another stylist and her customer and just chopped away at my hair. She cut one side shorter than the other. When I asked about it , she just sniffed and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. It was a terrible cut and I had to go somewhere else to try to fix it. She seems more interested in herself than the customer. The salon is large and open and loud! I observed that it is not very clean either. Would not go back, just didn't get a good impression there.
