Lilly at Elite bails was a game changer. Lilly did my gel mani/ pedi and I have been getting my nails done for 45 years and have been to salons globally in my travel of 67 countries. I have never had such a calm, concentrated, caring and conscience person do my nails. She also spoke English very well and did not spend the time jabbering in Vietnamese with the neighboring technician. I always felt like they were making fun of the clients when they speak on and on in their own language instead of engage with their client. She really engaged with me, yet was quiet when I wanted to read my book on my phone. She even gave me a tool to use to turn the page more easily. It other words, she paid attention and cared to serve. It goes without saying that she was experienced and had out standing skill, but every other experience of having my nails done was one of feeling that the technician was focused mostly on working quickly and getting done. Yes, they would get the job done, Lilly did it excellently but with calm, caring, and focus on serving me, creating a wonderful experience. it was almost jarring in the distinction of how different is the attitude of even those doing a good job. their focus was on themselves and finishing as fast as possible. I have even felt abused by some who hurt me and had no idea how rough they were being, they were so touched on just themselves and getting done as quickly as possible. Lilly was focused on serving me and doing the most thorough job I have ever experienced. It took maybe 15 minutes longer than the usual, but the difference was attitude. It sure made a difference. I think this young woman is a real find. St. Simon's is a second home for 4 years and I have tried most other salons. Lilly changed what I now expect from a salon. I expect Lilly. I will call 3 months in advance to book when I come to St. Simons. I have already told several others about her and one went on line immediately to book. She had never heard such raving about a nail experience. Lilly returned the nail experience to the zone of calm and excellence. I thought I had found the perfect nail technician when I found Jess at this salon. I was clearly mistaken. I had requested an appt a couple of days before and asked for Wednesday or Thursday. They gave me 9:30 Wednesday. As you can see by my texts. Texting is the only way you can make appts. At 9:02 I received the text from them Asking if I could get there sooner, my reply was I was on my way and it would be about 15 mins. Two Minor accidents occurred on my route and it Delayed me 5 Minutes. I arrived at 9:35. The owner said Jess could Not do me because I was late. And it was Valentine's Day.... DUH!! Jess was doing another client at her station. What they did was take a walk in and Funny, I have had to wait 5 minutes for them when their appts run long. So I wouldn't recommend this salon at all. I guess the owner does not Need my simple pedicure appt money nor my 15.00 tip I leave every time. I am only leaving one star because you can't post the review unless you do but I would give them no stars. Shame on you Pro Owner, because you are not Professional at all. I made an appointment for a regular manicure and deluxe pedicure. Both services were good and I liked the nail tech. However there seemed to be a miscommunication and I only got the regular pedicure. It was late in the day so I just went with it rather than make anyone stay later. I will go back though because I liked the atmosphere and professionalism. read more

This place was great! My mom accidentally made a reservation for a nail salon in Florida also known as Elite; since we are on vacation she isn't very familiar with the area. We walked in at our reservation time and the young lady who helped us seemed confused, but really nice! She laughed at the mistake and said she'd be able to accommodate us which was really super!! It was five of us total; 5 pedicures and 2 manicures. The gentleman who was doing my nails was so extremely lovely! He was nice to talk to and he was very quick and clean with his work, I was surprised how fast, smooth, and consistent my nails were compared to other nail salon experiences. The lady who did my toes was also really nice and she made lovely conversation! She is super quirky and sweet, so I'd highly recommend her if you're the chatty type; she's the one with the big flower tattoo on her shoulder! 10/10 I would 100% recommend these folks; from the quality of the work and people to the cleanliness of the facility and processes our group was super satisfied and we'll have to come again the next time we visit St. Simon's ! read more

This salon came recommended by a friend. Ironically, they suggested that I request a staff member that was a non owner. That should have set off alarm bells. Initially the owner(s) appeared friendly-then after several appointments it was evident that they were very controlling. To the point that they did not allow me to look at colors of nail Polish. Rather, they would ask what color I was thinking of and go select something for me. I have never been treated so poorly! Between that, and changing the prices for the services each visit, and talking at me & rather than use verbal communication they utilize non verbal cues by tapping one's hand or leg to let the person know they want you to move. The female talks non stop, she is very dominant and the male is very quiet. He is passive aggressive. I will not go back. Living on the Island I want to support small businesses, yet I am paying for a service and I expect to be respected. And I expect to be treated fairly and the prices to be consistent. I found a new salon where I got my nails & a pedicure done for the price of a basic pedicure at Elite! And I got to pick out the color of my polish ! read more

David Dang is rude and talked about my friend and I right in front of us. He acted as if it was an inconvenience to do our nails instead of implying he was busy which there was only one other customer there. My nails look really good but the way that he was acting made me uncomfortable and rubbed me the wrong way. Always remember ur customers are paying u. At least my nails look good periodt. read more

I cannot recommend this nail salon. Ibe given them 3 tries. I've had two bad experiences. ( I don't usually post negative reviews). First bad experience-they talked me into Gel X. It peeled in days. Today, I arrived for my appointment which I made by text, describing the services I wanted. I said " I need SNS, no new tips, same color ". Then when I arrived and ask for the same service, I was told I was mistaken as they didn't do that. The tech was adamant and said she would never schedule that. She also said she would not ever make that mistake. "We don't do that - we don't know how". I then showed her the text where she scheduled the service and instead of acknowledging her mistake, said it was my fault . That I should have used a certain word to describe the service I was seeking. Whaat? There were no questions when you booked the appointment. Rude, arrogant , no apologies and did own on their mistake. read more

Everyone was very friendly but I wasn't impressed with how my toe nails were trimmed or lack there of including the hangnail that was still there after receiving my pedicure. I paid for an extra 30 minute massage which was ok but my mother received one and it wasn't worth the money at all. I expected with all the great reviews that this would be place to go while visiting St.Simons but I wasn't impressed. It was completely overpriced for the services provided. read more
