Of all the surgeries I've ever had, the hip replacement surgery was the best. it's hard to imagine that you can get the biggest joint in your body replaced and be up walking around afterwards. The first 2-3 weeks was the only downside, if you can call it that, it's more about impatience to get back driving etc. I'd let him operate on me any day of the week. Highly recommend.

Thereafter, my newborn had an appointment last week to have his 2 months shots. The appointment was scheduled for 1:40 PM. We arrived at 1:50 PM to be told that my son could not be seen because we were late. I called my mom who asked about the 15 minutes window from time of appointment. My mom was told that they tell patients to come 15-20 minutes prior to their appointment which is the window. That was not their policy. We did not receive service for my newborn. I will never go back there as they clearly did not want to provide our newborn service and we were treated differently. Highly disappointed and concerned about the disparate treatment received.

It may seem odd that a couple who has no kids go to a clinic with "pediatric" in the name, but they serve children and adults (in fact, they have a children's entrance and an adult entrance). I was referred to IMPA by my cardiologist after I told her how disappointed I was with the bedside manner and lazy diagnoses of the last THREE primary care doctors I had (from different health systems). Unlike the others, Dr. Hicks has always gone the extra mile to truly find out what's going on with my body, which is invaluable to me as I have a complicated medical history. He is very easy to talk to, he listens and takes notes, and has a warm bedside manner. The staff have always been professional and caring when I've gone there. The doctors' schedules tend to be pretty booked up, but they've always made the time to see us if we have a immediate health need. They also have an online Patient Portal that I can log into to see my lab results, next appointment, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and any of the doctors for premium quality care. (I feel that the 1-star review below is unwarranted. The clinic does have a sign that states that they are closed for the lunch hour on Fridays. This isn't an issue for people who have appointments. If it is an issue for someone, then there are plenty of walk-in clinics in the area.)

For 4 months I could barely walk so my wife made…read moreme an appointment... the doctor seemed nice... he gave me a little foot to squeeze while he took a scalpel and did things that I couldn't watch. My wife however was staring intently like she does when her cupcakes are getting close to perfect so they aren't over baked... she couldn't pull her eyes off that scalpel. It was the strangest pressure/ pain I've felt in a while then there was this pop and something hit the floor... he got it. And I could feel this wave of calm flow over my body. He told me some medical name for what it was. Dirt and sweat in a pore that is dormant. He said it will probably come back in 3-6 months. It's been 9 months now and no sign of return. But if it does... this time I'll try to muster up the courage to watch. He didn't let me keep the little squeeze foot thingy tho. I guess I'll let that pass.

This podiatrist didn't carry on a conversation, he didn't give any advice, just future appointments…read morethat should have been fully covered under my insurance. I was told after my 5th or 6th visit , I was told that I have a co-pay of $25 a visit! I ask upfront if my insurance was covered. I was told yes they accepted my insurance. Unfortunately I'm a diabetic and require seeing a podiatrist on a regular basis. I have always been covered with my insurance.

The Dr is so personable, knowledgeable and is great. Although, the test stated, that all was well. This office would be great if you have neuropathy! And, a huge shout out to Gina, in billing. She is personable, knowledgeable and just a great person! She was full of empathy, which is hard to get, these days. Thanks you guys!!!!

Thank you Dr Garrido! My grandpa lives in Mississippi and has really bad diabetes, with really…read moreterrible wounds on his legs. He went a few doctors and they all wanted to amputate his leg! I know several people in Mississippi who referred me to Dr Garrido who is known to restore blood flow to legs to prevent amputation. Thanks to Dr Garrido, he was able to save my grandpa's leg and now he is doing better than ever. His wounds are healing great. We are all so happy and grateful!
