I had a very bad reaction to the Kirkland Contact Solution. My eyes were bloodshot and swollen and it felt like there was glass under my eyelids even when shut. I saw Dr Dayana Pereira. She was the 4th eye doctor I had seen to try to get this resolved. She was kind and didn't talk over me and didn't shoot down or discount any ideas, thoughts, or concerns I had. The medicine she prescribed ACTUALLY worked and she even called me to follow up with me multiple times over my healing journey. Refreshing is an understatement. I am hoping that once my vision insurance renews next year, that elite vision care takes it because my experience was so good I don't want to go anywhere else from now on! read more

What an amazing experience!! I came in for an eye exam which went quite smooth aside from my own issues. The doctor was very nice, knowledgeable and the staff is very professional. I purchased new sunglasses that i tend to lose frequently and prescription glasses. The variety of frame options is impressive and they also supplied me with contact lenses. If you happen to come across this review, feel good with a warning that you will move on to another vision practice. When in previous years I had visited this practice Dr. Case at the Boynton office was very professional and transparent on the exam and the charges. When I returned to his office recently Dr. Case was not working out of this office but at another one of her locations. I was told upfront that my health insurance Eye Med would cover the entire cost of either the eyeglass exam or the contact lens exam. I chose just the contact lens exam as I just needed to replace an older Lense I was wearing with a newer replacement. Office called me after making appointment that they were ordering my present lenses in the same prescription to check if I needed to change the prescription. I did not ask them to order new lenses to see if they were any changes. At my appointment they checked the same new Lense prescription I had presently. With the new lenses on the Optometrist did a refraction check on each Lense and indicated the left one could be changed slightly. Wel the surprise was on the way checking out that the visit charge was $180.00 after I was told that my insurance before coming into the office covered the entire lens exam but they added a charge for a custom fitting. Quick refraction check on the lenses was not consider a custom fitting form my long use and wear of lenses. When I decided to return the replacement lenses just for my contact lens I discovered the updated contact lens prescription was the same as before. Will not be returning to this practice again. read more

I've been going to their office in Boca even prior to her buying it from Dr. Sider who was great for over 6 yrs. Now, each time I went, always new doctors, new personnel. When I called for my last appointment, Angie, the girl that runs the office, said they were swamped and it would be 2 weeks. When I finally went, I knew this place was in chaos. One guy ,Angel, was new and from another office. Couldn't work computer, but he said he would take care of me as he has been doing this work for 20 yrs. Another guy at the front desk, and tech, has to be the dumbest brain dead kid I ever met. Make a long story short. I reluctantly bought glasses from this Angel guy, and he upsold me, and I paid $425. I just knew I was going to have a problem, but I didn't want to start over again. The glasses came back, didn't see correctly out of them. I wanted to refuse taking them, but they said take them, wear them for a few days, if not, I could exchange, and get the better veralux lenses I had in my pair I was replacing. When I went back, a 2nd time, because Angie was to busy the 1st time, I said there is no selection of frames to choose from. She replied, we aren't getting any new inventory, this shopping center is dead and the store is up for sale or closing. She said I could go to the Boynton store. I just walked out, couldn't deal anymore with the BS. I just blew $425. They went from being swamped busy, to selling the store or closing. In a former world I would have really fought, but I don't have the energy anymore, and to stressful. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

The office personnel of Elite Vision Care in Boynton Beach is incompetent and rude to customers. This is not the way to treat your customers if you want to stay in business or want to have a job. I had my last pair of Silhouette Rimless glasses done by Dr. Case a few years back and I could not use them for over a year as they were giving me headaches and making me dizzy. I paid around $450 out of pocket with the VSP discount, so this was not a cheap pair of glasses... Now, I made the mistake to go to the same office for another pair, and the PD which they wrote on the prescription was off from the measured values from LensCrafters so I asked the front personnel if they could check again. To my surprise, not only that they did not understand the difference between distance and reading PD, but they refused to measure again, and they were also very rude. This could explain why I was getting dizzy from the last pair. If your pupil distance does not match where the centers of your pupils are, your vision can be affected! The wrong PD can induce eye strain, fatigue, headaches and blurry vision. This office does not consider PD measurement important ( PD measurement is done by somebody else and not Dr. Case), but quality and accuracy are very important to me. Also, be aware of useless procedures such as the eyes picture for $39 and others which are done without explaining the added out of pocket expenses. The personnel at Elite Vision Care in this office is not trustworthy. They are incompetent, and they treat their customers with disrespect. Stay away, and find an office you can trust! read more

This was our first visit to Elite Vision Care as we are new to the area. My husband has special needs as far as speaking, and I have to say that the staff was very friendly, caring and wonderful. Dr. Case was very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything to him, and we came away thinking how fortunate we were to discover this place. Worst experience I have had in all my years of wearing & purchasing glasses. I Questioned whether pair of bifocals were deep enough...were told definitely "yes"...and when they came in they were not wearable....same story with second pair of glasses and second salesperson. Was told the two gentlemen had years of experience...hate to tell you, but experience does equal competence. "Gentleman" today was rude & annoyed that third pair had to be adjusted 3 times...at that point I just left. Desk person couldn't find initial order...asked me if I "went under a different name" when they were in & she couldn't find them. It was like dealing with Moe, Larry and Curly. Coincidentally, while I was there today, an elderly woman was there complaining that she couldn't see properly with her new bifocals & they were giving her a hard time until they ultimately gave her an appointment in 2 days to see optometrist, Seems to be a pattern or a strange coincidence. read more
