If you are looking for emergency pet food in Islington, you don't have many options…read more Angel Pets is a small store so it just sells the basics. You can find dog and cat food here, some food for birds (wild and otherwise), and some small animal cages. The shopkeeper here was friendly and I thought that the prices were good. My pet has food at the moment but the next time I need to get him some and I'm going to Vue, I'll stop in here. Better than being caught out and having to hope to catch Waitrose.

There was a large number of collars, leashes, jackets, anti-pull harnesses, and muzzles for dogs that I could choose from, and the man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The store may be small, but what they don't have they are happy to order for you. And if you're in need of a cat/dog bed, they have an entire wall FULL. Good prices, good service, and no complaints when I had to return a collar that was too large. Thanks, Angel Pets!

I managed to ask a passing member of staff who pulled one from behind the counter and unceremoniously put it in my hand and quickly walked off. I was in a hurry so I walked out. what is the point of keeping these things behind the counter. I will go to Amazon for pet supplies. I'm disappointed with this shop.

That being said I found the perfect handmade Pink and Orange adult collar and coordinated leash. So when the time is right and my puppy is a few months old she'll be sporting a very stylish look!

He really likes it better than the tins of meat. You can find so many accessories for your dog too. I bought him this training treat ball for only 5.00, he did not bother with it at first but he then took to it and I could not get it off him. They have a good selection of dog coats, soft baskets to choose from. I bought my friends dog one of these for Christmas. They also have a large selection of fish which covers about 20 foot of wall shelving. I can watch them for hours. The kids love this part of the shop too along with the rabbit run that they have built in the centre of the store.

I hope by this point you realise that I am talking about a cat. Anyway, my baby Tom was a Molesey boy until he went of to join the great cat heaven in the sky. Nowadays, Molesey pet store rarely sell cats, but occasionally you can find some kittens here. A few weeks ago there were some gorgeous Burmese cats here, but they didn't stay long. They treat what ever animals they have here really well. There are no dogs sold here, which is a good thing - I don't like the idea of pet stores selling dogs anymore. But they do sell plenty of doggy treats for all you pet lovers out there. This is where I pick up my dogs chocolate buttons, which are so much cheaper here then they are in Tesco's. They sell a few different types of birds here, like love birds and parrots. Plenty of fish too, and some bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters. I melt when I see anything furry or fluffy, so I try not to come in here to much, as I would probably leave with something squeaky.

Right now they are doing a deal where when you buy a cage - hamster cage. You get a free hamster with it. I should say straight away I work for this company as a cat sitter…read more A great alternative to putting your cat into cattery while you are away: definitely much better for them. A cat loving person will visit for around half an hour once or twice a day. They'll feed, clean trays, play, cuddle, groom and/or medicate your cat as needed. They are also able to do other tasks such as closing and opening curtains and turning lights on and off for security, picking up mail, watering plants, feeding the fish, etc. The service is insured, and all cat sitters are checked as having clean police records. As they have a number of sitters on the books if something happens to your sitter they are able to get someone else to cover. At present they can cover large areas of North, West, Central and East London, and can often offer a referral if they can't cover your area. If you are interested in the work I've found this a nice, friendly company to work for. Payment is monthly and prompt. As a cat lover I find the work interesting, sometimes challenging (not all the cats are little darlings!) and very fulfilling. Some do it part time, but as a full-timer it is most definitely a lifestyle choice not just a job: if you get an assignment that lasts for 2 weeks, then that means you go every day for 2 weeks. And assignments overlap Yes, I do mean you work 7 days a week Travelling around in all weathers can be physically demanding too (I don't have a car, though I'm sure if I did that would have its challenges too!). I've done up to 12 miles a day on foot and spent hours soaked and cold! Pay is not going to make you rich, but definitely better than the dole! I love it, but it's really not an easy option, or for someone who doesn't genuinely love cats.

The staff were very knowledgable and attentative with helping customers. They had a vast selection of pets and supplies to suit anything you would need. The layout of the store was fantastic, everything was clearly displayed so you wouldn't be walking around aimlessly for what you are shopping for. As for prices, I was pleased that everything was at a descent price compared to some other places I visited. The only bad point I have is that they were out of rats at that time, but with it being close to christmas It was understandable so I wasn't upset. So all round a fanstasic well run pet store, keep up the good work.

We highly recommend Feline Happy as the best petsitting service in North London. As a childless…read morecouple, our cats are our family, our children, so one of our biggest concerns when we move is finding a good petsitter in our new neighborhood. Debs at Feline Happy was our petsitter for our five kitties during the entire time we lived in Finchley, and she did a great job. Our kitties love her and though we travel frequently, we always come home to happy, well-fed cats and clean litter boxes. When we first contacted Debs, she was available to come meet the kitties and start petsitting on short notice. We had an initial meeting, and even our shy kitty Oliver went right up to her to be petted, which amazed me. (Usually he hides if strangers are around) I think the cats sensed that she was a pet person, and she was very good with gaining their trust. Over time, we've found that Debs was always available through Christmas and other holidays, so we didn't have to worry about having multiple petsitters. She's fully insured, as is her husband, so even in the event of an emergency, you can be confident that your kitties are in safe hands. We've never had any kind of issues with the kitties getting sick while we were away, but I know I could trust Debs to take great care of them and to make sure they receive any medical care they might need. We give Debs our highest recommendation, and we're confident you'll be happy with her services!
