I met her by happenstance when she covered an appointment I had with an acupuncturist she was sharing space with. At that point I had been through an endometriosis diagnosis, excision surgery, and two failed IVF cycles. Beyond my fertility issues, I felt like I was in my 50s even though I'm in my 30s. I've had 7 sessions with Elizabeth Carpenter to heal tendinitis of the shoulder and resulting loss of range of motion. The treatment was helpful to ease some of the pain. The burning sensation I had as a result of a pinched nerve got better with her treatment that includes cupping and other methods besides acupuncture. After an especially painful "spoon scraping" of my arm that was supposed to increase blood flow to the injured area, I was left with a huge hematoma that was supposed to disappear after a week but remained for 3 months.
