I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.

From clothing to bric-a-brac to electronics to cameras to furniture, there's something here for everyone. They have periodic sales, for example, 50% off all furniture for a week, and the prices are incredibly good. The volunteers who manage the store are friendly and helpful, and more than willing to assist you with your needs. I did really well here, managing to grab a leather (!) recliner chair for $30, during the 50% off furniture week this week. With such a wide variety, even with the long distance drive it took for us to get here, I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it as a good op shop stop if you're out that way.

The centre is a lot like most suburban shopping centres, if not a little bit outdated, but there was plenty there. It's pretty big, with two major supermarkets, a Big W and a Harris Scarves. There are plenty of other specialty stores, mostly chain stores rather than local small businesses. It really just feels like the centre could do with a bit of sprucing up, and perhaps a proper food court (unless I missed that one) but it certainly looks like a handy centre if you live nearby.

Those shops are the main places that I go if I need to buy something cheap. There's also a post office and a Harris Scarf. There's also other clothing shops inside but I never buy any clothes from the shops because they're too expensive... and I'm more of an op shop kinda gal. There's places inside to have a bite to eat (I like the sushi bar.) I've heard that they're going to renovate Parabanks and I can't wait for that to happen.

When I needed to do some shopping on a public holiday I was surprised to find this place open. I…read morealmost drove past it actually... This is a nice spacious Asian supermarket. To the left of the entrance are the nick nacky things, as well as cooking equipment. To the right are the aisles of food stuff. The shelves are nicely packed but at the back of the store I was hit with an awful smell. I'm not sure what it was, but being that it was in the general vicinity of the meats section I was a little concerned. I suspect it was the dried fish that was also right next to that section. If that's the case they might want to move the dried fish incase people get the wrong idea. They also sell a variety of western drinks which is handy as I simply went out for some apple juice, but ended up buying a little more than I was supposed to. I also spent longer than I was supposed to as I was so busy looking around the store. Each Asian supermarket offers something the others don't. I suggest visiting as many as you can find.

This bargain shop is absolutely one of those no-frills places, chock full of all sorts of bargains,…read morenot one of the best well-organised places tho, and without signs indicating product categories - so you may get a bit lost when you try to seek a particular product for the first time there. Instead, you just have to walk through the whole shop to get lucky and come across your thing unless you don't mind asking the shop assistant each time. It's a reasonable range of products there, prices are good, similar to cheap as chips prices. The only drawback was the not-so-good environment in the small shopping centre where this shop is located - kinda unsafe in general - kinda empty, not much foot traffic, and once I heard and saw people brawling with each other there in that shopping centre while people were standing watching. Afterwards, through a chat with one of shops' owner, I learnt that swearing and brawling happens almost everyday, no big deal at all.
