My husband and myself are in commercial real estate and development so we had a figure in mind that the house was worth. 10 minutes into our meeting she asked us what we thought it was worth, when we told her she said it was worth another $100,000. We immediately said, "let's get this on the market". We were skeptical, thought her price was way too high. But I gave her a date I wanted the house to hit the market and asked her for my marching orders. In December 2011 my wife and I decided to relocate with our two-year-old daughter from Silicon Valley (I work in high tech and my wife in venture capital) to Austin.
