My puppy Hailey loves Elizabeth! Elizabeth is very experienced with all training levels of dogs. She knows how to socialize a puppy and she makes Hailey very happy. I feel very safe leaving Hailey with her for dog parks and overnights. She is very flexible with scheduling, drop off, and pick up times. Every time I take Hailey to Elizabeth, she's always very excited to see her. I know Elizabeth loves Hailey too. She is very patient with my puppy Hailey. She clips her nails and makes sure she's healthy and content. She sends me pictures of Hailey all the time. If you are looking for a pet sitter, Please contact Elizabeth. She is great and I trust her! I asked Elizabeth for help when my job's schedules got changed last year and wasn't able to exercise Hailey in the mornings. Elizabeth takes Hailey to dog parks with other dogs and makes sure dogs are vaccinated. One time I had a family emergency and had to go to SF, Elizabeth took care of her very well. It really reduced a lot of my stress by knowing that Hailey is with her and is safe. She is very responsive. She also taught me a lot of basics on how to train a dog. Hailey and I both love and trust her .

We have been using Elizabeth's Pet Sitting for about a year now. We particularly like leaving Ollie with her when we go away and long trips as we know he'll be well taken care of. Elizabeth makes sure he gets plenty of exercise. She sends us photos of him playing with other dogs at the park(s). He seems always happy to be with her. I recommend her services.

Elizabeth is terrific with dogs and is easy to contact for bookings. It's great to have such a reliable petsitter in town. She works really hard to keep our dog entertained and goes on many walks and fun adventures with the dogs in her care. She has a really solid system down. We always get awesome update photos from her on how our dog is doing, in which our dog looks like she's having the time of her life. When we get our dog back, she is always tired and happy, like she's been partying hard the whole time we were away.

We used Elizabeth for overnight pet sitting and for weekly dog sitting for 3 years while living in Davis. She's one of the few people we've found who was able to manage our boisterous hound/beagle mix--and always with a smile on her face! Elizabeth is prompt to respond to communication via text, periodically sends photos of her pack of dogs while out on walks, and clearly cares about all of the dogs (and other animals) she looks after as if they were her own. I highly recommend Elizabeth's Pet Sitting to anyone looking for a reliable caretaker of their furry loved one in the area.

    All the happy fur babies!!
 Just one of many updates!

Amazing!!! Elizabeth is the only one I trust with my dogs! I am one of those people who many think love their dogs just a tad too much maybe. They are my very best friends and they are treated completely equal to any other family member. They bring us so much joy and happiness that it is hard to fully put into words. That being said I went through 4 other potentially dog sitters before I found Elizabeth. I am thorough! I do not just dump my fur babies and leave i thoroughly checked Elizabeth's business out and made sure that all conditions were up to my standards! My dogs 2 very small dogs are accustomed to a 1.5 mile walk, once in the morning and once at night and at least a 1 hour dog park trip every single day so i had to make sure that Elizabeth could accommodate their active lifestyles! All of my expectations and desires were met and exceeded! She takes the dogs to the dog park twice a day and all the dogs that she brings around she makes she they are well socialized enough to interact safety with even my 6LB toy poodle! She follows my feeding instructions to the letter and is constantly sending me updates on how they are doing and pictures of them both day and night! Elizabeth is also SO easily to contact and communicate with! She always responds so quickly and even has no problem meeting me wherever she is at in her day to get my dogs! Elizabeth's Dog Sitting is the only person my family trusts to leave our fur babies with and it is such a huge relief to not have to worry about our babies because we know they are in great hands! Thank you again Elizabeth!!!

Elizabeth loves our dogs and cats like they're her own and they are always excited to see her! She sends pictures from the dog park and when she sits the cats she often spends time hanging out with them beyond a standard visit. She was very patient with out dog who is not great with new people and going to dog group with Elizabeth has been great for her self confidence.

Since moving to Davis, we were looking for someone we could trust to take care of our fur babies while on vacation. We found Elizabeth and we couldn't be happier. She has taken our dogs over night on multiple occasions, she always send pictures and updates to let us know how they are doing. (We love that) we have even had her pick up our dogs just to walk them. She is quick at responding and always takes great care of our dogs. Highly recommend her!

Thanks for taking such good care of Millie! She always looks forward to her visits with you and your reliability and consideration for her care has been extremely important for her and I. You always go out of your way for her and as someone out of town a lot for work, my heart is at ease knowing we have such great dog care.

Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn't always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

Lizz came to my rescue when I needed help for my doggies. She came to my house and sat with my babies when i go to work. She's very attentive to my dogs needs and is gentle with them. I would highly recommend her for petsitting services.

It's always stressful leaving your dog somewhere and worrying about if they're being treated well, and it's such a relief knowing she's getting the absolute best care possible. :) I love the little handwritten "report cards" I'll sometimes get and I love seeing that there are regular activities planned for the pups to do. I can't emphasize enough how helpful Dogtopia has been in our lives!!!

Smooth drop off/pick-up if it's not during the rush. Signage on the lobby door for only one dog/family in the lobby at one time, which is very helpful for reactive dogs. lots of parking spots. Cons: Costs are high. They used to allow us to roll over any days not used for the week/month for free but that changed abruptly with little verbal notice. staff/coaches working in the playrooms not so great. Multiple times I have seen on the webcam, staff ignoring certain dogs, carelessly spraying cleaning chemicals on dogs while cleaning, and not cleaning after dogs. I've had multiple instances in which another parent was given my dog or I was given the wrong dog at pick up. Recently I noticed the webcam feed would go up later and turn off earlier. I used to be able to watch as early as 7:45am and late as 6:30pm but sometimes I won't see anything until 8:30am and the feed will turn off at 6pm. Webcams all go offline from 12-2pm for dogs to rest and/or eat their lunch/meds, and staff to clean. No outdoor area for dogs to play or relieve themselves. The owner Cindy has confirmed during my meet and greet that many dogs have regressed on their potty training if they are trained to go outside. Going back to the webcam, I have on multiple occasions (minimum 10 different occasions first two months) witnessed my dog being humped on by other dogs but staff do nothing to correct the behavior. My dog did not hump other dogs, people, or their toys until I started to send them to daycare, and I recognize this is a natural behavior, but this behavior was very noticeable after daycare. My dog also seems to actively avoid certain dogs at daycare, and it's most likely because these same dogs keep going after mine. It does not look like playing or wrestling. It's always the same doodle, rat terrier looking dog, and sometimes a beagle bothering my dog and the staff just watch then walk away. I saw a canine coach job posting for this location, and it seems that staff get very thorough training (lots of practice and supervision) but pay seems to be $16 an hour? work 4-5 hours about 3-4 times a day minimum AND have to stand around the whole time cleaning up after dogs? At least pay them more? Hire more staff? Consider ways to maintain staff retention and lower turnover? Maybe they'll look less upset and have more drive to perform better at work? My biggest issue is the lack of cleanliness and slow to action coaches working in the rooms. I am paying a high price but I don't believe dogs are getting the full attention and care they deserve. At least 5 instances within the first 2 months of starting daycare in which my dog came home with poop crusted on his rear, pee on his legs or back, and random chalk smudges on his legs. I was notified only once about this at pick up, and that was because the staff had supposedly washed off my dog so he was very wet at pick up. However, upon brief inspection, there was still full remnants of poop and pee on my dog. If you were going to wash off the dog, at least do a better job? Inside is well updated, so I know there is a nice grooming area with bath to clean off my dog. But also, why wasn't I notified more consistently? Furthermore, staff in the back are not quick to clean up after dogs when they poop/peeps. I do recognize there is only 1-2 staff members working with at least 5-7 dogs and up to maybe 18 dogs in one play room, so it's absolute chaos, but it's frustrating seeing poop picked up 5-10 minutes after, pee barely mopped up with the same mop, over and over again. I have watched this multiple times on the feed and it's very disturbing, especially when I think about other dogs stepping/running all over it and coming home. I wash my dog's paws and wipe him down after every daycare day, and it's tiring after a long day of work, but it's definitely needed (especially with how the dogs smell after spending time with other dogs in a small and enclosed space). Anyways, this place isn't terrible if you're not very particular about cleanliness and attentiveness to dog care. I think this is the only daycare in town? There is another one called pawsome care or something (still same prices but no webcam I think) but no reviews so Dogtopia it is. Also location is somewhat convenient. And my dog already knows this place so it'll probably be hard for him to readjust somewhere new. And if you're looking for grooming, I recommend Sydnee's. Prices are considerably cheaper than Dogtopia, Petco, and Petsmart. I was recommended Sydnee's too, and went at least twice. I'm no dog professional or business owner, and I'm new to doggy daycare so I hesitated for months on posting this review. But somethings had to be sad so hopefully this helps someone.

After years of shuttling our dogs to our parents every time we want to travel, my husband and I finally decided that it's time to find a local dog and house sitter. I reached out to Dusty through Yelp and received a very prompt response for availability and to set up a meet and greet. She also provided thorough background checks, proof of insurance, and references (who gave excellent reviews). Her care and thoroughness is very evident. We connected right away during the meet and greet, and my husband and I both felt like we could trust her with our dogs and our home. I provided an extensive list of notes, and she followed them to a T. During our weekend trip, Dusty checked in frequently with updates and photos. I never had to wonder if the dogs were doing okay. Not only did Dusty really care about our dogs' well-being, she also cares about our peace of mind and puts in a lot of effort to relieve our anxieties. I was especially anxious about one of our dog's leash reactivity, and Dusty did a fantastic job managing her surroundings during walks and making sure that they were both safe. Upon our return, the house was in great shape. My only "complaint" is that the dogs didn't seem to miss us at all since they were so busy having fun with Dusty! I got to know Dusty more, and she's an honest, lovely, and creative soul. We plan on being her clients for many years to come.

We reviewed online and even went to some in person. One we skipped because play time included wayyy too many dogs (big & small) and the conditions just looked awful. I remember crying because not only was my spouse sad that I no longer wanted to take trips because of my worries for Howl, but also because I felt so guilty leaving him, and would play terrible scenarios of his days alone like being neglected, getting hurt, etc. I made it my life's mission to find a good place to stay and after a while searching, I found Dog's Life. It was an hour away from us but at that point distance didn't matter and we just wanted to find some comfort so we drove there as soon as we could. From the second we met Star I felt a sense of RELIEF! She explained her boarding process, the fact that she limits the number of campers, and only accepts dogs that are a good fit for each group staying over. She's also extremely attentive to the dogs needs and keeps us up to date with photos and videos which I desperately needed, especially the first few stays. We went shortly after again for play camp and we're so ecstatic that we found such a good place - especially because Howl is a pug and Star specializes in brachycephalic breeds! THANK YOU STAR, our quality of life (and howl's as well) has improved so much since finding a trustworthy sitter. if anyone is considering a place for their loved one, this is it!!
