It is a perfect space for a cocktail party with hand-held foods. Rima had many of the items I needed for food service, and an easy-to-use customer portal that let me ask detailed questions to avoid transporting more party elements than I needed from my Pennsylvania home. The space itself is delightful! It would be perfect for micro weddings, showers, personalized gatherings, or event after-parties. It serves as a photo studio in its original configuration, so it is bright, imaginative and immaculate. I think, when more folks discover its second use as an event spot, it will become wildly popular and tighly booked!

We worked with Express It Video Productions for our wedding last year. I was impressed by what we…read moresaw at a bridal show by their DJ partner company, e squared productions, along with them being preferred vendors of our venue, but they were a huge headache to work with. A few days before our wedding we were supposed to have Rob the owner, as our photographer but instead was sent Rocco. OK, no big deal, I was easy going. However Rocco had zero creativity. We had a fall wedding with a bridal party of 14 and all we got were the standard shots (girls lined up next to bride, guys lined up next to groom). ZERO creativity. Not only that, but he acted like we were bothering him by having him take shots. When my husband asked him to take bridal party pictures in the beautiful staircase of our venue, he actually acted irritated! That was the prettiest place in our venue for pictures, and WE had to ask him to go there. It was like he wanted to be anywhere but taking our wedding pictures. No fun personality, nothing that you would expect from a wedding photographer. After the wedding was when the aggrevation truly kicked in. We were promised that we'd have our thank you cards printed and sent to us by the new year (we had a November wedding). We received them in April, after having to follow up numerous times. For our video, album and prints, I had to constantly follow up with phone calls, texts and emails. Nothing was ever given to us on the date we were promised and I felt like I was always being worked by a car salesman at every interaction. When it came time to pick our prints, I was told I'd have to pay extra for parent albums even though when I was sold the package, parent albums were included. The quality of everything received was fine, nothing to brag about but decent quality. For the price we paid, we got a great deal as far as everything that was included. However I felt like there was a huge lack of professionalism and the client should never have to chase someone down to get what they paid for. I wouldn't have minded waiting for my album, video, etc. if I was just given accurate deadlines that they stuck to instead of constantly over promising and under delivering.

We were uncertain if he would be able to walk me down the aisle. As you can see my Dad was able to walk me down the aisle & it meant the world to me. This aisle runner was my favorite wedding decor piece because I truly meant what the aisle runner said. "Dad of all the walks we've ever taken. I'll remember this one forever". However he's not an easy person to work with. He had more of a Prima Donna attitude than anyone in the room. He was critical towards my MOH and best man and made passive aggressive statements. He made everyone feel uncomfortable and my bridal party and both my family my in-laws kept asking where I found this man. He didn't take any photos of my MOH and best friend making a speech and focused on other people in the wedding party and giving my other MOH and best man (I know I know I have two sets) all the attention. He didn't tell us to get a park permit for our pre-nuptials and we had no idea we had to...and he ended up yelling at the parks manager and almost had us kicked out. Also, he didn't try to make us feel better by giving us some additional time for the time lost in the park and wanted to leave right on the dot when my tea ceremony was starting...which is huge for my culture. He also ended up giving us 300 something photos and for the price we paid...it's ridiculous. People have 1000 plus photos and he gave us less than half that amount. Some photos were really nice but some...the contrast was way too much and my acne scars were highlighted and he didn't even asked me if I wanted it smoothed out. When I email him about status of the album he gave me a "you're not the only bride I'm working with" type of response and it really made our experience with him even worst. If you guys don't care about who the photographer is and wants his style of photos then hire him, otherwise there are many photographers who are nicer to work with who produce just as good if not better photos.
