It's a beautiful walk through the farm and the orchards. They seem to have dozens of peach varieties because every time I visit, there's something new to pick. Unlike other U-pick farms, their prices are very reasonable, around $1.50 per pound, and they decrease later in the season. They have such an abundance of peaches that they just want to clear them out! In addition to peaches, they also sell other fruits and vegetables depending on the time of year. This time, they had massive zucchini and loads of corn! I always grab some local honey too, which is both reasonably priced and delicious. I'm amazed that more people don't know about this local gem! I go every year and highly recommend a visit!

Still cataloging donations and our future plans to expand are on our minds as we arrange and also hold celebrations here. The museum and the Guardians of the Museum will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1978 opening with a open house Sept 15th. Music and refreshments from 5:30-7, but you can tour all day with our resident emeritus.

There's free pool while you're waiting to sit at a table. I've been there three times and plan on returning on a regular basis. There has been free BBQ chicken, potato salad, and rolls the last three times. There's a fridge to put your beer/liquor in. Free ice and glasses for the mixed drinks. Several TV's to watch football games and such. They give you donation chips, so instead of the house raking part of the pot, it's suggested that you give the donation chips to the Poker Room to keep the lights on and pay for the cable bills; just like a poker room in the casinos (except better). So if you want some free money, come on nights I play!!
