The variety of having a pool, a basketball court, a running track, lifting areas, cycling rooms, workout classes for members and guests, and more makes it optimal for all types of active people. The front desk staff is attentive and kind, very helpful if you need anything. The staff working the weights floor is mostly young teens, but they regularly clean and are available when needed. I have taken a few workout classes and absolutely loved it! There is a great amount of high quality equipment that is provided, and the space itself is very clean. Floor to ceiling mirrors allowed me to see my form, and to face the opposite way and still see the instructor. The instructor herself was friendly and uplifting, and kept the workout class moving while still ensuring we all understood each movement and what we were working. The staff came in and cleaned our mats afterwards, which is reassuring! The locker rooms are very clean and spacious in my opinion. There is always free space, and also three mirrors with vanity space if you need to get ready after your workout. There are also three showers, and an ADA friendly option as well. I highly recommend Common Ground if you are in need of a family friendly gym with plenty of variety and clean, updated, facilities!

Once you turn into the parking lot, there is a large sign with the numbers of the fields so if you are not where the field you need to go to is located, you can find it on this map. The parking lot is a little haphazard. There are bumper blocks that designate a stall, but sometimes cars just park whichever way they want to. Sometimes, they make their own spots. This baseball park has a concession stand with many varieties of food, drinks, and sweets. They also take credit card and apple pay!

I love the treadmills here, they have different videos you can program them to and it makes it seem like you are running through Australia, New Zealand, or somewhere in Europe. It helps keep my mind occupied when I'm running longer distances. I also like the large locker rooms that are kept clean throughout the day. I've also used the free weights and bosu here and I like that they offer these here. I do wish there was a designated area to stretch out before and after workouts. Another thing I wish that they would enforce more would be mask wearing for visitors. It is still risky being exposed to people especially while working out and we are breathing more. I am happy to have an opportunity to still workout during this time and I'm glad that the YMCA is doing what they can to accommodate people as well.

I would have preferred to check it out before the investment. From the looks of it it looks like a massive indoor playplace. I would love to come back. They have memberships and I think if you have 5 and under kids this would be worth the price, but with my school age kids we would not take advantage enough. It is definitely something needed in this area of town.

It's really nice to see a large electronic scoreboard (unlike the field my oldest played on a few years ago). The only improvement I recommend is a small bathroom facility because I'm not a fan of porta potties.
