WASTE of money) Truck broke down after 2 hours! Had to spend the night before they could bring us a new one. We were told they would compensate us for hotel/meal. Absolutely didn't! They sent out TWO men to reload our whole house of furniture and they didn't secure our dining table. It fell over, leg broke off, top all scratched! They say they aren't responsible, U-Haul is, U-Haul won't take responsibility, the insurance company won't cover it! Guthries say they only rent out the trucks ( not responsible). So buyers beware!!!!

The two ladies working there were extremely helpful and nice. They even suggested I drop the truck off near our new house instead of driving it back to Madison in order to save money. I would recommend at least giving them a try.

I had a u-haul reservation for this morning. Of course when I arrived there was nobody here and…read morethere was a locked gate with a phone number on it. I called the guy and he told me to call the 1800 number for the gate code. So I did. They told me a local owner had to come let me in. I've been waiting 30 mins and still nobody here. This is absolutely unprofessional. I'm in a time crunch as well. When you make a reservation for 10 am, wouldn't you think someone needs to be here with a trailer ready to go BEFORE 10 am? I've never had this much trouble renting a U-haul in my life. If you're needing one, don't come here.

My father, who lives in Alaska, recently parked his very nice rv at this lot at a rate of…read more$120/month. It was to be stored there from March 2016 until June. On May 23, he received a call from the facility stating that the rv had been vandalized and had extensive damage, along with several others, and that the security cameras were not working because the power was out. After talking with the police about the investigation he was informed that this is a common occurrence at this particular lot and that in fact, they find the gates often open and security cameras off. Needless to say, this is his out of pocket expense, as vandalism is apparently NOT covered by the lot's insurance. Info provided by my father Dana Bassel Kenai, Alaska June 1, 2016
