When I entered I saw that their tables were set up with red & white table coverings ready for the lunch crowd. I was greeted immediately with smiling faces and I even received a hug from Ms. Chelle. On Wednesday's Courville offers a hot meal and a cold one called Love Lunches. The name definitely fits because you get a taste of TLC in each bite. You are welcome to come in and eat inside or take it with you. I ordered for hubby and myself, two Cobb salads to go. These salads really hit the spot during these hot summer months. The first thing that caught my eye was the beauty of the presentation. It was lovely to look at and even better to eat. This salad radiates with the vibrancy of spring, with an array of beautiful, bright colors. This dish of deliciousness starts with a mountain of fresh spring mix lettuce, followed by plump grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, egg, avocado, bacon bits, shredded cheese, purple onions, with slices of the best and well seasoned chicken breast resting on top. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor. It's a show of veggies brimming with freshness and flavor. You will eat it for the taste and love it for the nutrition. . We all booked rooms and the reviews did not lie! What a unique and amazing place this is! A beautifully decorated home that includes a pool, a movie room, shelves of DVDs and books, billiards and more games. You can choose which room to stay in and my husband and I chose the "Steampunk Room." The room was located in a tower apart from the house. It was so cool! The next morning we had a homemade breakfast and it was AMAZING! Our hosts made us feel right at home and were so kind. They have five rooms and every one has a different theme. There's a really nice pool, plenty of decks and a small lake. It also serves as a great wedding venue for a small to medium size wedding. Stacie and Dave are the warmest, friendliest most accommodating hosts. The breakfast is so delicious. It's surrounded by trees and we really felt close to nature. It's only 9 mi north of Baytown. If you want to get it away from it all, be in nature and be pampered, this is a place to go. The price is very reasonable.
