I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. The first thing that caught my eye was the beauty of the presentation. It was lovely to look at and even better to eat. This salad radiates with the vibrancy of spring, with an array of beautiful, bright colors. This dish of deliciousness starts with a mountain of fresh spring mix lettuce, followed by plump grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, egg, avocado, bacon bits, shredded cheese, purple onions, with slices of the best and well seasoned chicken breast resting on top. Long line but the serve very fast and efficient. Kinda noisy with concrete floors and tin ceiling but a fabulous place for lunch. About 15 dollars with a drink plenty of food to fill me up. Steam table was completely stocked and steadily printing fresh out for the servers. Seems to be a more working crowd industrial area to grab a quick good lunch plate. To be able to pick up a meal, that I feel is reasonably priced, so that it takes the meal prepping time out of our hands is a huge help. And the food is delicious!. If you didn't come to get that dish that sample will change your mind and you will be walking out with it. Haha. I love that they have Monday deal and sale Saturday. So there are opportunities for a discounted price. If you don't follow them on Facebook then I highly recommend that you do so you can see what they have available each day and maybe snag a deal. I happened to see their Monday deal where I got 1 large entree and a choice of 2 items either a garden salad, bread, or a side for $22. See a meal you like that week or upcoming week and not make it in...then call ahead to reserve, have them place it in the freezer for you, and let them know when you can pick it up. So easy! I just got diagnosed with gestational diabetes so having the low carb options has been amazing. Now they don't have nutritional facts for you to see how much carbs and protein but if you are like me and have room to experiment with your blood sugar levels then this is worth it. Even my kids love the low carbs meals so it's a win all around. The store is in a shared shopping space but I've never had issues with parking. It's been easy to get in and out. They do have dessert options and one day will get to partake in it. I know I mention just the meal pick ups but they cater also. I haven't had to use that option but keeping that information in my back pocket for when I might need to cater food. Staff is friendly and have been able to answer my questions. Don't sleep on this place! Take some stress off of your meals planning and busy lives and grab some meals.
