The mall is clean, bright, and beautifully maintained, making it a comfortable destination--especially on a hot Florida day. The air-conditioned indoor setting is a welcome escape, and there's a great mix of stores, whether you're shopping for fashion, gifts, or just browsing. Another plus is the ample parking. It's easy to get in and out without the hassle of circling for a spot. You can park in the shade or not! Whether you're planning a shopping trip, grabbing a bite to eat, or simply making a stop at one of the specialty shops, The Gardens Mall is a relaxing and enjoyable place to visit.

Over the next few years, it continued to grow into one of South Florida's premier luxury malls, with Bloomingdale's opening in 1990 and Saks Fifth Avenue following in 1991. Burdines closed in 2004 as part of Federated Department Stores' corporate consolidation and was replaced by a two-story Nordstrom in 2006. Sears, one of the mall's original anchors, permanently closed on February 29, 2024. This was my first visit to The Gardens Mall, and everything about it exuded luxury. Parking is plentiful and free. Inside the elegant fountains and water features, lush faux floral arrangements, and sculptures scattered throughout the mall lent themselves to creating an upscale atmosphere. The shopping lineup is equally high end with designer boutiques like Talbot's, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany, Lilly Pulitzer, Chanel, Gucci, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, and many more. When it's time for a break, the elegant Gardens Café food court offers quick service favorites like Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, and Charley's Philly Steaks. I especially loved the mural that wraps around the food court called A Story of Florida. It depicts Florida's earliest history of indigenous people and the arrival of the Spanish and ends with a space shuttle taking flight. Full-service restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Cooper's Hawk Winery, P.F. Chang's, and Brio Italian Grille which all have sit down dining options. I liked walking around the mall and while I don't generally shop luxury brands I did check out the Hallmark and Yeti store. I would come back for a bite to eat and to take in the beautiful surroundings. Even if designer labels aren't in your budget, it's worth stopping by to window shop and enjoy the tranquil vibe while taking advantage of very appreciated air conditioning, which is so vital this time of year.

Gorgeous women dressed to the nines walking around making sure everyone was taken care of, started a fitting room for me, talked like we were girlfriends shopping after brunch. The woman helping me also hinted that they'd be opening up a store back home so I didn't have to wait till I visited again to come shopping. She made me feel like VIP, took pictures for me so I could see the full effect and I ended up buying my wedding dress from here! So it'll always hold a special place in my heart. This years visit was not at all like that lol no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. It was pretty bare too and everyone was just running new runs of clothes I guess. Selection is always cute and I always want to get something but after trying on there was nothing I was really in love with on. On the hanger everything was so cute but on meh. Sizing is all over the place. I have a dress where I needed an XXS, another dress XS, a fleece jacket in S. It's really not consistent so it's better to shop in person. Idk if I just missed it but it would be nice to have a shoe section too because I love their collabs. I wanted to get a zip fleece but they didn't have the one I was eying online. In the store they had the hooded version. $118 / $128 hooded I'll still come back

The store itself is GORGEOUS & beautifully planned out & gives all the vibes. They truly have clothing options for everyone looking to look chic & casual. My only complaint really is the customer service. It's awful. There is no acknowledgement of you as you walk through the store. There was one or two people on the floor just looking at customers and it felt awkward. Even the girls at the register would just stare at you while walking the store and not even smile or greet you. It was weird. It felt 'judgey.' So finally after like 20 minutes of deciding what I wanted, I check out and the girl doesn't even smile or greet me and just rings me up as if she's in a rush (there wasn't a line) and then after I pay she just puts the bag on the counter looks at the only person who just got in line behind me and I am still standing at the counter putting my wallet away and she says to the girl behind me "oh you can come up now" as I'm still standing at the counter and the girl seemed confused because I hadn't left yet. I felt unappreciated as a customer which sucks. Like I said before, Aritzia is one of my favorite brands but I'll probably stick to shopping online.

I am not sure if it's because I'm African American but every time I took something up and had several items in my hands they asked to take it from me, and went in the back room to count it. This was not the end of it, the moment I stepped into the dressing room they kept asking to take the items that I didn't want every 2 minutes. I could feel the insinuated accusation without it being said. I then began to observe there interaction with other's to see if this was how they treated every one else but, no, I was the only one being given this treatment. I left the dressing room with a few items in my hand and Nicole then came and asked if she could take them and I said no (by then I was growing irritated and had made the decision that I was not going to purchase anything but see where it lead to). She then went away and came back touching my purse using "not so well reverse psychology" to get in my bag but I did not allow her to. I am assuming that's when she called the compound security (who initially said they needed to check my bag but by the end of the ordeal stated that they can't look in my bag and they wanted her to look in my bag). Nicole mentioned that they are missing a shirt that I went into the dressing room with and suspect that the items were in my bag and that at no time did she see me put the items down. She threatened to call the cops and I told her to call the cops and if they found nothing in my bag that I would be suing the store. She also kept telling me to stop making a scene when clearly she was the one who had called security on me. She mentioned that if I refuse to cooperate I will be banned from the store? I have been shopping at Lf for several years, since it originally opened in Miami! I told her if so, then I would like to have every single item that I have purchased refunded. The security also said that I was trespassing? This made me very upset. This one location has given me a bad impression about the overall franchise and I am utterly upset that a good portion of my closet is from them. After asking that she searched everyone's bag in the store I allowed her to look in my bag and of course, she found nothing and she did not apologize. I asked Nicole for the headquarters number and was told to go google it. This is the worst treatment I have ever received. In addition, I was the only person given this treatment in the store. At no time did they ask any other customer to take their items to the dressing room. While in the dressing room they asked me every two minutes to take the items that did not fit me. I have visited other locations throughout the US and they are very pleasant but the treatment I received at the Palm Beach Garden location was much different. Zero stars should be an option. If you shop here please observe the treatment you receive and give feedback, especially if you of minority. I cannot express how distasteful their attitude was. I was embarrassed and disgraced by the experience.
