I just moved to Shanghai, WV and discovered this tea room while on a scenic drive to Berkeley Springs. Oh my goodness... it was a truly wonderful experience! The tea, the delicious soup, sandwiches, scones and sweets and the beautiful setting was superb. I've been an afternoon tea enthusiast for over 30 years and have attended all of the fancy tea rooms around DC, Maryland and Virginia.... from the Willard Hotel, Mayflower, Hay Adams, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton and many others. Also attended tea in Canterbury, England. This beautiful tea room in "Almost Heaven" West Virginia completely won me over! What put this room over the top was the service. The warmth, kindness and Christian hospitality from the couple that own this tea room and bed and breakfast will renew your faith and bring you peace and joy as you sit back and experience tea as it should be.
