I saw a guy making fresh kettle corn, some jewelry, I bought a beautiful wooden hand made "spatula" and I love it. I picked up some pickled okra and homemade relish that I used for gifts. I also found a couple that grows ALL types of sprouts. On my last trip I purchased sunflower sprouts which were delicious straight from the container. The place I did the most damage was from a nice lady and I'm assuming some family members where I loaded up on tomatoes, corn, beets, green onions, okra, green beans, new potatoes and persimmons. They carry lots of other fruits and vegetables that are definitely fresh and delicious. If you go be sure to check out the trees that have art carved in them. They are beautiful.

Super packed, dont expect to find parking on weekends. Lots of options for food: food carts, snacks, coffee, beach shops and seating all over. The beach is just spotless and stunning. We came on a recent Saturday and the main street was pretty much chockers with cars, although we managed a spot right next to the market. There are probably two dozen vendors but only one produce stand, which is primarily why the experience wasn't a knockout for me. Most of the market was novelty snacks and baked goods, and I did appreciate the samples! Some of my favourite samples were the shrimp ceviche and unidentifiable crumbly biscuit. We ended up grabbing a bag of mixed nuts and cranberries and a whole lot of veggies. The location of this market, enveloped by the beach front, food trucks, sidewalks, and a super cute Seaside houses, pretty much makes it a destination. I'd be glad to go back.

So no word as to when it would open etc. what a waste of time. For someone that has been to markets across the country and it says rain or shine its rain or shine.

They coordinated directly with me to ensure that I received exactly what I needed. Now we can have Alabama boiled peanuts throughout the football season in Texas. Customer service like this is worth talking about!!
