The "store" experience is at best 1 star because there really is no "store." We had decided some time ago that the next time we needed more tupelo honey we would just drive over and pick it up. Make a day trip adventure and eat somewhere interesting. Making the trip on a Monday was our first mistake since many small town restaurants are closed on Monday. Then it turned out that the one we picked out that was supposed to be open (according to Yelp) wasn't even in business anymore. Then we pulled into LL Lanier & Sons and realized there wasn't a "store" either. If you happen to be rolling through Wewa when they are open then stop and get some of the best honey available. Otherwise it would be better to order online and pay shipping. Nothing to see here folks. Just move along.

They have tasting room as well as a ton of Savannah Bee Honey products and other products ranging from lip balms, to peppermint honey soaps, and even specialty honeys. Today we snagged some delicious honey drops and two lip balms. They are right next door to Dolce Vita as well which is a cute little boutique clothing store. Don't forget to check it out if you go!

Spring Wildflower, Summer Wildflower,Tupelo and Creamed (very thick and spreadable, highly crystallized) and jars containing the comb for each variety depending the season. Their prices are quite reasonable at $8 half pint. 12$ For a pint and 10$ for any of the honey containing combs. I've taste tested all of the honey they have available and it's all awesome! You can really taste the difference between the seasons and the creamed honey is amazing on toast or biscuits. The owners website contains a couple of contact links if you're not able to catch them at the farmers market. I was able to place a bulk order for Christmas presents with no issues! They take cash and also have Square for credit card payments.

I may have misjudged the type of business this is? I'm not really sure. There is a bell in the fence with a note to ring for assistance. They let us sample the honeys they had and my dad bought some. They did seem very knowledgable about their honeys and their bees. I don't think I'd actually recommend driving to this location though. They obviously do business somewhere but I got the distinct feeling it's not from here, though they never said as much.
