Besides taking wonderful care of my feet, Dr. D is one of the most caring doctor/human being I have ever known. His bedside manner is incredible. I am grateful that he has been part of my medical team. When his office merged a couple years ago, he asked if I would see Dr. Kumar. Not even knowing what gout was, I went to the ER thinking my foot was broken because j was in so much pain. The ER said I had a stress fracture and to rest. A week later I still had excrutiating pain and went to see Dr. Salmon. He immediately diagnosed me with gout but took x-rays just to make sure. He have me a cortizone shot which gave me some instant relief and he called in a prescription for me. We made an appointment with Dr. Salmon's office in Bethpage and he fit us the same day after hearing about the issue over the phone.
