He claimed he could expand both sides of my driveway and it would look like one even finished job. Well, it did not. Looks like a hot mess and clearly not as he promised. When he asked for payment, he somehow for got the original quote he had given me and added $300 additional to the cost of the job. My advice to others is to get his initial quote in writing - I did not and took his word that he would remember. I called and asked him to return and fix the mess and I haven't seen or heard from him since. It's been about a month and nothing from Mr Garcia. Next time I'll just call the real pros and just pay the cost instead of trying to work with these small local guys who really don't know what they're doing. I think they just get lucky in some cases and some people might get decent work from them, but it's probably 50/50 on what type of results you'll get.
