We brought in 8 suit jackets ($ 6.99 to clean), 1 winter coat (around $14), and items for alterations (pant hemming $ 3.99). Wedding gowns approximately $125 to clean. They also offer boxes. I believe the owner's name is Tina. She was very nice and polite. I thought we were told our things would be ready on Thursday. So I went in the morning and our alteration items weren't done yet. Turns out it was Thursday PM. But she quickly did them for me so I did not have to come back again. Workmanship was awesome! There is also a room in there in case you had to try something on to get things altered. Pretty happy with the dry cleaning... my white coat is looking so clean and new once again. But they forgot to sew back one of my buttons on... not sure if we paid for it as I don't have the receipt anymore. Even though the shop is absolutely out of the way for us, we will definitely be coming back again!

Before I write anything, I'd like to tell you that I don't only write bad reviews, and I'm not writing this based on one bad experience either! It seemed like many customers in the store that day were not impressed (to be polite), with the service they have received. Long story short, I went in on May 15th with my maid of honour dress to be worn for June 10th. It was an extremely expensive dress, and I needed to get it shortened before leaving to go on vacation. (Mistake #1 for not turning around the second I got fitted)!. When I asked what day I could pick it up, the woman kept telling me June 8th, or June 9th, something ridiculously close to the wedding date. We settled on June 5th....which I think was AMPLE time to only SHORTENED the dress. Nothing else. I went into the store yesterday to pick up the dress, and even before I put on the dress in the changing room, I could tell it was WAY too short (I even had shorter heels on)! On further inspection, I saw that the outer lining was the same length (almost) as the inner lining length, something I asked NO TO HAPPEN, as the original dress left the outer lining longer. Again, a closer look, JAGGED EDGES all around the dress! It literally had looked like a 5 year old went around the edge of the dress and cut it without guidance! IN ADDITION, the length of the dress was not the same all the way around. THIS IS NOT QUALITY! I could have done the SAME thing! Not to mention I was charged $65! When I went to tell her of my dissatisfaction and pointed out all the flaws, essentially telling her the dress was ruined, the store manager went into defence mode, saying it wasn't her fault, she didn't do it, blah blah blah! Not ONE apology, not ONE option to fix it! She just kept saying it wasn't her fault, and to talk to head office. She was even rude to a 15 YEAR OLD GIRL who was trying on a dress! I mean, common! I get we all have bad days, but this is the STORE MANAGER! She should have had way more (if any!) patience, understanding, and customer service...especially after reading that the store was celebrating 25 years! Such a SUPER UNPLEASANT experience! I feel bad for the woman in front of me that opted to get her wedding dress done here! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. CUSTOMERS BE WARNED!

I brought a suit to get dry cleaned and 3 pairs of jeans to get altered, spoke to the owner who tagged and wrote up the bill. We both laughed at the ugly attempt my MIL did on hemming the 3 pairs of jeans, it was worse than grade school home ec . He knew to fix those horrible mismatched hem lines and replace ONE broken zipper, which he marks by cutting it mid length so whoever works on it can see it's clearly damaged and that's the one that needs a replacement. 3 days pass and I come back to pick up the order, to my surprise he ended up snipping the zipper on a perfect pair and left the broken one undone(still clearly cut and unzippable) Also didn't fix the hemming nightmare on two of three pairs of jeans.... WHAT just happened here!? This was very sloppy and hugely disappointed. And here he was, trying to get payment from me as I noticed all this. Lucky I did check this over before paying/leaving. He fussed excuses on the mistakes and finally in the end, he grudgingly agreed to pay for the wrong zipper fix ($7) and re-do (actually do this time) the three things missed and did not offer anything for the mistakes, hassle, frustration and delay. The 2 generous stars are for being quick, decently priced and able to get many alterations done here, decent hours.

One week ago I dropped a pair of jean to be hemmed. I specifically requested a European hem…read more(original hem of the jean), which maintains the style of the denim and does not make the denim look as though it has been shortened. This was printed on the receipt. Upon picking them up, this work was not complete in this manner, effectively ruining the look of the jean. The jeans had the store tags on, they cost $300, which is why after paying a premium price, I wanted to invested in this more costly process. A "regular" hem was used. The explanation given for the incorrect work was "we were busy". The bill was adjusted to reflect the cheaper workmanship, which looks cheaper than what was requested. These jeans are effectively ruined. At no point was there any attempt to offer a refund for the incorrect work (I still had to pay for the "regular" hem) let alone to cover the cost of the jeans. I have been using their cleaning and tailoring services for over 12 years (this location at Longo's and on Bayview at High Tech). I will never return or recommend this utterly unprofessional business again. Off now to post a Google Review and on all my social media accounts.

UPDATE: I brought a pair of worn and stained suede shoe for repair and he was able to make the color of my shoes all uniform and removed all the dark spots and stains. It's amazing!
