UPDATE: I brought a pair of worn and stained suede shoe for repair and he was able to make the color of my shoes all uniform and removed all the dark spots and stains. It's amazing! Very disappointing experience, especially with suede cleaning and alterations…read more I brought my pink Adidas suede shoes to Royal King Dry Cleaners for professional cleaning. Before cleaning, the suede was in good condition and the colour was even. After cleaning, the shoes came back faded and discoloured, with obvious pink/red streaks and marks that were not there before. I have photos showing the shoes before and immediately after the service, which I am attaching to this review. I complained and gave the business an opportunity to correct the problem. They kept the shoes and specifically told us to return on Tuesday. We came back as requested, but nothing had been fixed. I also brought pants for a seam repair. The repair was done by hand with an uneven seam. They agreed to redo it, but when we returned on the promised day, that had not been fixed either. We were then told to make yet another trip because the owner was not there. This is what frustrated me the most. Mistakes can happen, but customers should not repeatedly be asked to come back after being promised that the problems will be corrected, only to find that nothing was done. This was also not my first experience with poor organization here. On a previous occasion, I arrived during their posted business hours while their sign was outside, but nobody was there, and several phone calls went unanswered. On another occasion, an employee arrived late. During my latest visit, I also saw another customer's clothing left hanging over the customer side of the counter while the employee was dealing with us. That added to my concerns about how customers' belongings are handled. I have my receipt, Adidas proof of purchase, and before-and-after photos and video. At the time of writing this review, the dispute is still unresolved. I will update this review with the final outcome.

I brought a suit to get dry cleaned and 3 pairs of jeans to get altered, spoke to the owner who tagged and wrote up the bill. We both laughed at the ugly attempt my MIL did on hemming the 3 pairs of jeans, it was worse than grade school home ec . He knew to fix those horrible mismatched hem lines and replace ONE broken zipper, which he marks by cutting it mid length so whoever works on it can see it's clearly damaged and that's the one that needs a replacement. 3 days pass and I come back to pick up the order, to my surprise he ended up snipping the zipper on a perfect pair and left the broken one undone(still clearly cut and unzippable) Also didn't fix the hemming nightmare on two of three pairs of jeans.... WHAT just happened here!? This was very sloppy and hugely disappointed. And here he was, trying to get payment from me as I noticed all this. Lucky I did check this over before paying/leaving. He fussed excuses on the mistakes and finally in the end, he grudgingly agreed to pay for the wrong zipper fix ($7) and re-do (actually do this time) the three things missed and did not offer anything for the mistakes, hassle, frustration and delay. The 2 generous stars are for being quick, decently priced and able to get many alterations done here, decent hours.

I think this is because this is the closest dry cleaners in the area, so people just come here for the convenience. We brought in 8 suit jackets ($ 6.99 to clean), 1 winter coat (around $14), and items for alterations (pant hemming $ 3.99). Wedding gowns approximately $125 to clean. They also offer boxes. I believe the owner's name is Tina. She was very nice and polite. I thought we were told our things would be ready on Thursday. So I went in the morning and our alteration items weren't done yet. Turns out it was Thursday PM. But she quickly did them for me so I did not have to come back again. Workmanship was awesome! There is also a room in there in case you had to try something on to get things altered. Pretty happy with the dry cleaning... my white coat is looking so clean and new once again. But they forgot to sew back one of my buttons on... not sure if we paid for it as I don't have the receipt anymore.
