I love the elm street tap room so much! I found this place right when I moved to Somerville and have felt at home ever-sense. The waitstaff is friendly attentive and never forgets a name! Everyone should join the mug club! Drink all 40 drafts and 50 cans and earn yourself a personalized mug on the walk with special events all year. For food I would recommend the waffle fries, bbq chicken nuggets, nachos and crunch wrap.

Visited on a Monday night so it was pretty empty (just some people at the bar). Had to wait a couple of minutes for the host to arrive but got seated as soon as they did. Ordered the mozzarella sticks but waiter returned later to tell us they were out (something I felt they should've known at the time we ordered). It also felt like he was rushed when taking out order (almost walked away and took the menus before I let him know which drink I wanted). At some point we were both out of water. Food was decent enough. They do have some vegetarian option (veggie burger), but all in all, an average pub for me.

Elm street taproom is a lively bar-restaurant by Davis. They played 2010s hip hop and RnB which seemed to fit the crowd. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations as the menu looked pretty generic. I was proven wrong by their execution... The meatloaf sandwich was nothing short of the most fire meatloaf and freshly made gravy I've had. An amazing combination of flavors with the crispy onion strings, mozzarella, and mushroom. I took half home because it was very filling and it was still great after re-heating. The grilled banana bread dessert definitely hit. I thought the banana would overpower the taste but it was mild and the sweetness of the cream evened it out. I'd bring guests and friends back here.

Came for lunch. Great location and the indoor/outdoor seating area is really nice. There's a full bar and a really big menu. The fried cheese curds ($13) were delicious. the nachos ($18) were good but could use more cheese. The prices are high but I guess it's a fancy place? Will have to come back for dinner.

My friend and I were looking for a place for an early dinner and came upon Elm St Taproom. The pulled pork taco on the menu seduced me in. The host greeted us eagerly and we were seated quickly. The wait for a waiter was a good 15 minutes though. Mind you, there were about 4-5 waiters working and about 5-6 tables with diners. We ordered guacamole with chips, waffle fries, chicken wings, pulled pork tacos, and chicken nuggets. I've always thought, maybe I'm naive, that pulled pork anything would be amazing. Nope! This was the first time I have ever tasted pulled pork that was bland. The chicken nuggets were as dry as the Sahara desert. The chicken wings were flavorless also. The only things that were remotely alright were the guac and chips (not sure if it's store bought) and the waffle fries. I understand that it's a taproom which means drinking a beer is the goal. I also understand that when drinking enough beers, everything looks and tastes better but come on. I'm thoroughly disappointed with Elm Street Taproom. Added 1 star for the amazing host that seated us.

Highly recommend! I can't wait until I get to come here and try more of the menu! Stopped in on a nice Saturday evening and found a couple spots at the bar. There were so many beers on tap, and even a while selection of sour beers! I got to have a flight of sours! Sour beers are my favorite. My friend got an IPA flight (easy enough to come by in New England lol). After getting my sour flight I ordered a full pour of another sour on the menu and my friend and I ordered the chicken nuggets. I'm not sure what I was expecting with the chicken nuggets, but what we got was a pleasant surprise! They were hand battered and DELICIOUS! The dipping sauce was great too. The bathrooms were so clean. This place is definitely a departure from the bar that used to be in this location, and it's definitely for the better. 4.5 stars and will return.

Fish and chips. Cole slaw was great, fries were ok, fish was great

Stopped by here in Davis Square. I was expecting your normal average taproom bar food. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Really good food here. I got the nachos, honestly was expecting some boring tortilla chips with cheap salsa and dry chicken. It tasted like home made (not from bag) tortilla chips and a nice fat scoop of guacamole, with very good cheese. the chicken was nice and flavorful too! The fried pickles were good as well. Nice fluffy batter which is different than other pickles I've had. I ordered the fish and chips. Not gonna lie I was expecting a ginormous portion of fish and chips and I thought this portion was on the smaller side for $18. I'm not complaining though bc I probably don't need a mountain of fries with a fried fish filet on top. the waffle fries were nothing special to note, pretty normal fries. The fish was great tho! Very nice crust and you can see if fried to perfection in my picture. I really loved the Cole slaw too. The perfectly sliced thin shreds of cabbage in and light sauce, not too heavy. Great together with the tartar sauce and ketchup. Overall very impressed with this place and would go again and try the wings next time!!

The Summary: Atmosphere - 5/5 Neighborhood - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Drinks - N/A Inclusivity - 5/5 Experience - 5/5 The Story: First + foremost, the staff here was so kind and accommodating given the circumstances. They made us feel safe and welcomed despite COVID, and seated all guests following social distancing standards (or having a barrier where possible). The food was delicious! Showed up in time before their brunch menu closed - I loved my Brunch Wrap Supreme and my boyfriend had the Disco Hash. We raved about our meals the rest of the day! Definitely recommend coming by if you can.

No longer a great gluten free place. They used to have a separate fryer and delicious chicken nuggets for GF people. Not anymore, sadly.

I arrived at 7:30 and was seated right away (it wasn't that busy yet). I was seated at a high top and not sure if there was wait staff or if I just self serve at the bar. The bar was close to me (Sally's is relatively small) so I walked over to the bar, ordered a beer (Lamplighter IPA, very good) and asked for a menu. The bartender offered to come over and take my order but when I had decided what I wanted I saved him the trip and walked back over to the bar to order. I got the Sally's Burger: 8oz burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. The bartender delivered the food very quickly and to order (medium rare). The burger was excellent and came with well seasoned French fries and a dill pickle spear. It was an excellent meal and reasonably priced. Not long after eating, the band started and the place was hopping! They have a unique stage set up where the backdrop is the windows to the street. It was entertaining to watch people on the sidewalk stop and listen for a minute. The sound quality is excellent. I looked ahead at their entertainment calendar and saw a lot of good shows. There is no doubt I will be returning to hear some great local music and enjoy an excellent meal and cold beer!

It's a local watering hole type place, with an easy vibe. A loquacious patron whose name I did not get told me the owner was sitting at the other end of the bar, and I believe it, because it felt like family inside, like a real Irish pub. There was an incredible band playing Irish music with no cover charge, and the drink prices were very good. Add in good bartenders and a dog-friendly patio outside, and you've got the best Irish Pub in Boston, IMHO. Glad to have found it; hope to return on next visit. Very fun night, and highly recommended. OMG I'm starting to almost like Boston.
