We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. She loved the petting zoo area & had a blast in the corn pit. I recommend going even on a day the sun doesn't shine. Be sure to wear boots.

They have several options for hard cider on tap as well as a variety of food options. We took a hay ride and attempted the corn maze. There's a store with so many different products for purchase. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. For family fun there's a play area with slides and other kid friendly activities. Admission and parking are free. You pay for any activities that you would like to participate in. We planned a short pit stop here but spent an hour petting juvenile puppies, goats, horses, sheep and cows. Then we met one of the stallions and fed him carrots. We got in our cars and drove to meet some mares and foals. Took a bit for the mares to come and greet us but they all did eventually. Very friendly horses, especially when you have carrots. Lastly we saw the yearling fillies. Beautiful setting. This was so fun, highly recommend if in the area.

The playground is a huge hit--there's a large slide structure, jumping pillows, and plenty of smaller play options for toddlers. My favorite newer addition has been the fall corn maze--such a fun experience! After playing, the kids love grabbing a treat or ice cream in the market. In the market, I usually stock up on cider, preserves, and fresh fruit--and I always grab a bottle of Wise Bird Cider (so good). They also offer baking mixes, vegetables, meats, and more. You'll find seasonal favorites like strawberries, apples, and pumpkins throughout the year, and everything is consistently fresh and delicious. We make it a tradition to buy strawberries in May, grab peaches during the summer, and pick apples in early fall. Stepping Stone also serves as a wedding and private events venue, and I often see school field trips there as well. The owners and staff are absolute sweethearts, and it's clear they genuinely care about what they do. They're wonderful community partners, and it really shows.

I of course went to pick some strawberries and there was a great selection as they had just opened for the season. They had tons of games/activities for kids like balloon making and soccer and toss the ring on the bull. It was so well thought out. We took the wagon ride to the flower and pumpkin fields and they also had a corn maze! So much fun, you could pick a bouquet if you wanted. I was able to bring my yorkie with me and he had a blast. They had plenty of photo ops. I think everything was reasonably priced, the owners were very nice. There was so much to do we didn't get enough time to feed the animals! Definitely go with time. I got there two hours till close because I didn't anticipate the drive from Lexington.

We purchased peaches, pears, and delicious apples. The prices were reasonable in my opinion. The apples and pears were in a small bag with a handle priced at $7 per bag. There were probably 18 to 25 items per bag. I do not remember the price of the peaches but they were reasonable. The orchard was just past Centerville Kentucky. You crossed a small bridge over a creek to go to the orchard. They had a cider operation that was not in operation yet. This was a great day driving in the country with a beautiful butterfly field orchard as a welcome surprise!

They had things ready for all ages. It was nice that they had a separate area for egg hunting and they requested that the children take up to 12 eggs each. They also had a face painting station, an area to feed animals, craft site, and more. My little one also loved the wagon ride! The large wagon took people on a tour of the farm. I had no idea how big it was and how many things they produced. We definitely intend to return in order to pick strawberries and apples. It was great, inexpensive fun for us and I can see this being a family tradition.

There's also a fee of .95 per adult ticket and 1.95 for children, so actually $9 for kids and $4 for adults. We were hoping to pick peaches (6 adults and 8 children) but at that cost, we're already near $100 before we even get any peaches. Cheaper in gas and fees to drive all the way out to Hubers.
