I would not have given one star if not forced. this is the worst waste of your money. I think this company looks for the worst of the worst in regard to employees. they are rude disrespectful and regularly are paid to not show up or when they do! This company is absolutely horrendous. They need to close down immediately. About a year ago this company was tasked with the job to plow our driveway. In the process of doing so they ruined our foliage out front. In order to keep an amicable relationship, we petitioned and called them, hoping that they would be able to replace the terrible wreck. However, after numerous attempts at getting in contact with them, they never responded and ignored our calls. One day a worker came out and pulled the foliage saying that they would replace it with their own foliage very soon. Lo and behold, the foliage was never replaced. This company does not stand by their word and they intentionally ignore their customers. They damaged our property and we now have to do the work ourselves. Save yourself the time and money and do not go with Elowsky. I'm perturbed that I have to give them 1 star. They deserve ZERO. read more

Elowsky Lawn Service has been caring for my lawn at my lake house in West Bloomfield and at my home in Bloomfield Hills. They provide professional service, are reasonably priced and responsive. Recently, I had some additional landscaping work done and the house looks beautiful. You can count on them for everything from a bit of a "facelift", to new mulch, to weeding, trimming, etc. and can expect all will done at the same high standard of service and quality! We also have our lawn cut weekly and they are always on time and they do a great job. read more

We hired this company to do what we thought would be a professional landscape job at our new home last fall. HUGE MISTAKE!!! The result turned out to be an embarrassment and total disaster! I don't know where they got their plants from - probably Home Depot specials left over from the end of the season. It is a young mom and pop team that operate the business. Wife seems to run the show, can't figure out what the husband does ?? After several months of dealing with them and the financial aspect of it all, we came to an agreement that they remove the majority of the junk they planted but requested that they fix the edging that, after less than a year, had all popped up from the ground. One of their workers came to our home, pulled out the plants and acted as if he would return to repair the edging at a later date. The owner had previously texted us stating, "The crew is aware they need to fix it". However we were eventually informed that her husband did not feel they should have to make this repair, although we initially paid for this work to be done. After several attempts at trying to reach them by text messaging and voice mail, they continued to ignore us. We sincerely believe they never had any intention of fixing their mess in the first place. These individuals are trying to run a business that they have no concept of. There is a lack of personal customer interaction after the sale has been made. They are definitely not in a class of professional landscapers and, if anything, should stick solely to mowing lawns. read more
