I stopped into Elveras after a family member suggested it and I'm so glad I did. First- Elvera's has a cozy cafe vibe that I haven't seen anywhere else in Brockton. Plenty of seating, friendly staff who seem to know all their regulars by name, and really good coffee/tea. I had a chai tea latte that I customized by adding toasted marshmallow syrup to- so so yummy! It'll definitely be my go to coffee spot in Brockton! read more

For once, an unpretentious coffee shop! Friendly wait staff, comprehensible menu and spinny stools for the long counter. I liked it. Decent prices. Diagonally across from the courthouse in Brockton. Cranberry chicken sandwich was good. They also have muffins. read more

I'm going to try this again because they got my post deleted by yelp because it wasn't clear enough according to them. While working in Brockton I wanted to try some place different and stumbled upon this restaurant. I walked in, the restaurant was warm and and decorated very nicely. As I approached the counter the to take my order the lady said to me " you can't order until you throw that coffee away" I was shocked because I went in there for the food not the coffee. I was so shocked in fact that I dumped my coffee in the trash and still ordered kind of in disbelief, as they prepared my order they were laughing and talking about me. The sandwich that I ordered was decent but nothing to rave about! DONT EAT HERE!!! the most rudest customer service ever!!!!!! The people who rave about this place are her friends! Was very pleased with Elvera's. I ordered a hand muddled strawberry smash energy drink and a ham and cheese stuffed croissant. The drink was refreshing with a generous portion of crushed strawberries. The croissant was delicious, served warm and atoned with plenty of ham and melts cheese. The owner introduced herself, and her staff were very friendly. It was very clean and orderly inside, and s nice warm welcoming space (although I took my order to go). Only "negative" is that it's a little pricey for the area. But they're a great addition to Downtown Brockton, and I will definitely be a "regular" at this spot. read more

By far my favorite cafe around! I live in Easton and go out of my way to get coffee from Elvera's at least 2 times a week. The coffee is like no other and not the mention the homemade kielbasa!!! The owner is always front and center greeting everyone by name and making sure each guest has a great experience. Excited about a local coffee shop in Brockton. Dunkin' Donuts is overrated. Upon walking in, I was greeted by customers and not someone from behind the counter. Odd. Looked at the menu and decided what I wanted. Still waiting. Looking at the time on my phone. Still waiting..... I was very patient. Couldn't move fast anyways because I had had my cup of coffee for the day. Minutes later the owner finally comes out to acknowledge me. I understand. Your busy behind the scenes running the place. It's a lot but someone must do it. The owner was very sweet & I then placed my order, got my order & left. A bit awkward to say the least. I'll probably go back in hopes to get a better experience because I really wanted to stay & sit for a few. read more

By far the best place for lunch in the city! Ordered the peanut butter mocha pie iced coffee and you can really taste the difference. The tuna sandwich was the best tuna ive ever had very fresh! Went here yesterday for a quick bite to eat before a appointment. I got a Kabasa Sandwhich which was delicious! and I loved how they gave you a option of sides Doritos, chips or a apple. They have free WiFi and the staff that I met are very friendly. I definitely recommend for a quick lunch or even a coffee. read more

Poor customer service and not from the "staff" but the owner herself. I'm a java head-- grew up in Miami in a Hispanic household, coffee is a staple for me. I asked for an espresso and her response was poor as if she didn't understand my request. I tried again and explained that what I wanted was basically two shots of espresso, the foam and a bit of the steam dairy. I do not like Milk & Coffee (Latte) I prefer less dairy, but enough to tint my coffee. Since she didn't quite grasp my request the encounter turned awry immediately. I'm not sure where the breakdown in communication was, but in my years of own customer service, public relations experience (professionally) the approach and response was poor, rude and certainly NOT welcoming. I immediately went on FB to post my review because of her poor attitude and she tried to add me on FB -- I thought she was going to apologize or acknowledge the breakdown or concerns. As all businesses should with Negative Consumer Feedback, as they should be viewed as an opportunity for growth. But it turned out to be only an attempt to pry or snoop around my FB account. Just visited this place. It's their first day open. I found the espresso not to be that good and the staff to be in disarray lacking leadership and proper training. This might improve as time goes on since it is their first day. The decor of the place is inviting and relaxing. I will try them again in two weeks. read more

Elvera's Cafe is a nice walk from my work, so I visit on a weekly basis. My favorite sandwich is the Chicken Cranberry Walnut Salad Wrap - the chicken salad is delicious with unique spices. I have also tried the Southwest Chicken Wrap which is also delicious. Although I don't order coffee typically, my co-workers make the extra trip to get the delicious coffee - both iced and hot. The Black Peach iced tea and Blueberry iced tea are my favorites, as well. I introduce Elvera's to all of my friends - it's a great café to have in the heart of Brockton! read more

Got a package or organic greens (with grape tomato, cucumber slices, and optional red onion) with a scoop of chicken-cranberry salad and a peanut butter cookie. Little pricey, but tasty, fresh, clean, friendly and prompt service. I would have ordered a full-sized salad if it had been an option. The cookie was delicious!! I'm editing my review. The business owner responded and that was really nice. I went back and took a look at my own communication skills to see if I could be more effective. I tried to be more clear and focus on the staff person and not get distracted by my companion or other stimulus (which can happen to me!) and had a much better experience.
