He skillfully addressed my issues, by providing invaluable guidance on selecting the right footwear - a revelation in itself. Despite months of physical therapy and even undergoing an MRI, it was Oian who, with a mere pair of shoes, orchestrated a remarkable turnaround in my well-being. It turns out I had been wearing the incorrect shoe for my gait --these had been recommended by a professional -- and additionally for years the wrong size shoe. Oian's kindness and generosity of time were unparalleled. He dedicated extensive attention to both me and my family. As a result of this exceptional experience, two of us made instant purchases of shoes on that initial visit. Subsequently, we returned to acquire two more pairs for another family member. The level of satisfaction we all felt cannot be overstated. It turns out we were all wearing the wrong shoe size. He also spent time giving us recommendations on hiking and adventures in the area. As he is an avid outdoorsman, these were incredible and made our trip that much better.

Located on the second floor behind a on-descript door (true), which must be the first joke. Small and really not what I was hoping to find. Not disappointing. The walls were full of masks, wigs, and packaged costumes. The real stuff of Jokesterisum was behind the counter. Chewing gum that turns your tongue and teeth black, hand shake zappers, fake vomit, pretend fingers and hands with various injuries (i.e. a nail through a finger or entirely missing). Best of all, the proprietor knew we were just there to reminisce, so no sales pressure, in fact, no attention whatsoever! The overall experience took about 10 minutes and was worth 30. Oh what memories and giggles we had in that short amount of time.

You know the ones with the orthopedic heels? All jokes aside, their shoes seem practical for the office or for long walks. They're not too expensive either, prices hovering around the 50 Euro mark. For that price, you get excellent quality: good leather straps and, yes, thick soles. Another good reason to shop here is the fact that the company is Irish, originating in Galway, and has existed since 1912. It claims to be the footwear specialist. Another source of pride is the fact that the business is still run by the Logue family.

The marketing at other chain stores is much better- but the quality at this store is second to none. These sweaters are better than any I've found in years of hunting. The labels state which craftsman knit the sweater and Anne (the owner) will gladly recount stories of each family and knitter. Anne values the history and integrity of each piece and this was of the utmost importance to me. She was willing to have custom pieces made to order as well, which might be valuable to some.
