Since then, I've returned for my own piercings, including my navel and both nipples, and have recommended Bella's to friends. Recently, I discovered that my left nipple piercing was placed incorrectly. While my right side healed perfectly, the left has become uncomfortable causing soreness during normal activities like sleeping and wearing bras. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it sits too high through the middle of the nipple instead of at the base, which explains the discomfort. At the time of the piercing, a trainee was performing the work under the supervision of someone I believe was the owner or senior piercer, so this placement issue should have been caught and corrected immediately. I trusted the staff's expertise, and this oversight has created ongoing discomfort. I'm reaching out in hopes that management will contact me to discuss correcting the placement, ideally by re-piercing the left nipple at the base. I want to continue supporting and recommending Bella's, but it's important that this mistake is addressed professionally. Bella's has a history of excellent service, and I hope this situation can be resolved promptly and fairly.

As parents my wife and I strive to teach our kids the skills they need to be great adults, including allowing them to make their own decisions. She had saved the money and wanted to go here. So that's what we did; my wife and I and our daughters went to Bella Piercing. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. For both business and pleasure, I've traveled and shopped all across the US, from the best stores and shops in Chicago to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. On Rodeo Drive, you walk into a store and some employees give off that, "We are so completely awesome you are lucky to be here" vibe. On Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, it's kind of expected and part of the fun. Not so much from a "wannabe" boutique on a side street in Gahanna, Ohio. The only other customer left the store so it was just us and the employees. Of course, the staff spent several minutes pretending to be too busy to come help us right away. So we sat down and let my daughter stand at the counter to wait to pick out her earrings. The piercing was completed but not before I was shocked that it was close to $200. My daughter explained that the sales person advised her to get the better, more expensive earrings because they would last longer. We were home only a couple of hours and one of the earring posts snapped. My daughter was just sitting in her bed when it happened. Of course, it was after store hours so we had to wait to go back. The next day we drove back to Gahanna and my daughter explained the situation. We were met with the most condescending, pretentious accent, telling my daughter that they had a no refund policy. I then explained that they had sold my daughter more expensive earrings than she came for because they were better and would last longer. Those "better, longer lasing" earrings broke after 2+ hours and they needed to replace it. This wasn't a return of earrings that were bought months ago. We had just bought them. After some back and forth, they reluctantly replaced them. I know that if a parent had not been there, they would have pushed my teenage daughter into spending another $150 to buy new earrings. Parents, don't take your children here.

They were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. If I'm being honest, my request was full on stanning, but I just really wanted Luka to know that I thought their work was beautiful and hoped we could work together. Days leading up to the appointment, Luka was very clear in their communication with me. The appointment itself was great. It was very nice to explore all kinds of topics with Luka, while quiet time was sweetly woven in. We even shared the lunch break together. The short of it is - I'm honored that I got to know Luka and really happy that I have a couple of beautiful pieces from them. I'm already thinking about the next two I'd like to ask them to work on.

When I come in an hour later with a friend and they ask me what I want, to my surprise I got denied: A piercer called CJ cuts me off and states "well YOU'RE saying we pierce with gold jewelry, *I* didn't say that, and that'd be more" I tell him "ok, that's what's the host had said and there's no way for me to know. But can it be done, even if it's more?" To which he states he only pierces with silver jewelry, for a reason he refused to provide. My friend and I stared at each other and left after he gave us the creeps. Thank you CJ!

My friend was wanting to get her seconds and thirds and he mentioned how his jewelry was too big to do both at a time. Understandable however his attitude when speaking to us was very rude. We felt as costumers that we were not welcomed in the space. My friend asked then if they could pierced in gold and he said they cannot that they only offer silver. However my friend called earlier that day asking if they were able to on the phone they said they could, however when she asked if they did while inside the store, CJ said "No you said we could I said we could only pierce with silver." which again was very rude he could have said that respectfully and it would have been fine. CJ Martin is a genuinely appalling person I would be upset if I ever had to have another experience with him. Do better.
