Checked in to see "Flight Risk," and their computer system was down. Luckily I bought my tickets through Fandango. The staff was very courteous and thoughtful. Although they couldn't scan any tickets or concessions, they gave everyone a free popcorn and soda until their system came back up. I thought that was 100% cool. Nice, new movie theatre on the outskirts of the town of Lake Geneva. The GPS took us an odd way from our resort, but that's another story. I ordered our tickets online (much cheaper than in Chicago!) and it appears that you're on the honor system because no one checks tour receipt or scans the bar code from the email; you walk right in and can proceed straight to your theatre based on the number that's supplied in the email. You only see someone if you need to pay for concessions, which are cheaper than we're used to too! We got the magic box which was a small amount of popcorn and a drink, for only 6. It is 3x that much at home!! Anyway they sell other food and also blankets for only $5. And nice reclining leather seats! I picked well based on the online map. Good sound quality and nothing at all to complain about. I'm glad we went and now we have another movie option when we're in town! read more

Ordered chicken tenders before the movie began, after an hour of waiting, I had to leave the theater and figure out what was taking so long. I mentioned to the employee at the concession stand that I ordered my food an hour ago and still have not received it. Keep in mind the parking lot was fairly empty, so they were not that busy. The employee gives me a rude response back and asks what sauce I want for the chicken tenders. I say BBQ; he puts the BBQ sauce in an already made order of chicken tenders just sitting beside him and hands the basket to me. I have never had this bad of an experience at a movie theater before. This theater has some very rude employees. I understand they most likely forgot about my order, but the rude responses when I let them know were unnecessary. I do not plan on going here ever again. Would rather go to any other theater than this one. read more

I've gone here four or five times now the popcorn is always fresh and good they also offer other meals. The seating is clean and recline and the theaters isn't too large. Good personal service, employee to customer ratio was good. I recommend this theater. read more

The recliner seating is great . This was our first time to this theater. They get 1 star for their crappy customer service and the most expensive and tasteless popcorn I've ever eaten. The Concession layout is terrible. The register is at the end of a very long roped barrier but the menu and products are at the opposite end. So if you don't know what they have to offer when you get to the register you're now out of line and people jump in front of you from the line behind you. This caused a confrontation that the 6 people behind the counter did nothing to avoid by simply asking if they could help us. When an argument started about who was first in line, they still did absolutely nothing but stood there and watched it develop with whispering amongst themselves. This turned what was supposed to be a fun outing into a very stressful experience. We'll never return to this theater again. read more

There is a full service bar and concession area with pizza, popcorn, nachos, etc. The theaters all have comfortable leather recliners with stadium seating and huge screens. This is a great new movie theater in the town of Lake Geneva!! Once showboat closed down, my friends and I didn't really have an option but to drive all the way to new berlin for a movie. Just went to a movie tonight. The theater is beautiful and comfortable, but they are lax on ticket checking. We arrived just as the movie was to start found kids that were part of a family in our seats. It is so dark on the seat numbers it made it confusing. When the. Correct seats were determined i told the mom tshe needed to move and the kid couldn't sit there either, it became apparent they didn't buy all of their group seats So the rest of the movie was people moving around and apologizing....literally a zoo. read more

Emagine Theater in Lake Geneva is a five star theater! Their ticket prices for students and even couples love seats far surpass their local competitors. They sell seasonal popcorn buckets that you can purchase, and it will last you an entire year. Once you buy the bucket, each visit only costs you $1 to fill the bucket. This is an amazing deal, especially for a family with lots of little ones! If you order hot food, they will even bring it to your seat before the movie starts. Let's first off start with trying to watch our movie and you could hear the movie next to ours and it was hard to concentrate and gave me a headache . I took my whole family to the movies and spent over 60.00 in tickets and concessions . The young girl at the concessions was rude and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a refill which we never even got a refill and I bought two huge buckets. She tells me there is a upcharge for cheese popcorn after i already spent enough . We come a few times a month and never have we been charged for a refill not even cheese ! Now you are charging people a 1.00 for a refill ! I mean I know it isn't much but it's the purpose of it! The popcorn I was given with butter topping tasted old and Burnt. But never did I complain . But when I go get a refill she would not give it to me without a extra charge . So then I went to talk to the manager and instead of saying you know we will wave the fee since we changed this and give you your refill. But instead he says I have to pay the upcharge ! Then I tell him I heard the movie in the other theater the whole time I was watching mine and this is just terrible customer service . He gives me one fee pass when our whole family had a crappy time and could hardly listen to our movie . You guys have a long way to beat Marcus on the popcorn and customer service . First off get a manager that cares about the families that come and spend there hard working money . Since all this we will never come back ! You just lost a huge family rather than giving refills like we where told were free even cheese. If you change the rules you better tell your customers ! Good luck ! You had hardly any butts in the seats and now ya lost more to Marcus ! They know how to treat there customers . This is no way to do business. read more
