Recently got into smoking pipe tobacco and called to see if they had carrying cases, they did, stopped by and was blown away at how much tobacco pipes and cigars they have. I was straight forward with the guy behind the counter about being a newbie and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Bought a simple Peterson case and looked around a bit. Me and wifey stumbled upon this place after having a meal next door. They have two seating areas, one in the front and one behind it. Yogi, the staff was very friendly and he showed us the cigar room and helped us pick out cigars and showed us the various parts of smoking a cigar. Picking up the cigar, cutting the end, lighting up and there we went. The lounge was clean and the chairs are super comfortable. A restroom in the rear, with M&M's for your eating pleasure on the tables. Coffee in the room and water also. Great spot and will return soon. read more

This is one of my go-to cigar shops when I'm in Orange County. Gary, the owner, is very helpful. Their selection is good. Prices are reasonable (sometimes better, sometimes worse than others). I'd estimate this shop has one of the better selections of affordable to high end cigars in the area. If you get to know Gary, he'll get to know you and from time to time, he'll surprise you with something special he thinks you'll like, and it's usually something you can't easily get anywhere else. read more

I know nothing about cigars, but my brother is a huge cigar lover so I stopped in yesterday with my stepmom to pick up some Christmas presents for him. The people that work here are super friendly and helpful. They have a lounge where people can sit around and smoke cigars, pretty cool. I liked that out front they have old cigar boxes for sale for $3. I thought they would be nice to use for a project or if you just wanted unique boxes to store things in. They have a Yelp check in deal going for all sorts of discounts, and we were able to get a cigar for free with it. I always get exceptional service here. This is a very nice store with quality items. They have a room with a tv and comfy looking couches (I didn't sit) where one can have coffee and smoke and visit in front of the tv. The cigars and tobaccos are all from the store, so the aroma is very nice, no cheap cigar smell, only comforting aroma. They were very helpful in helping me select a gift for my husband last year. This year I brought my husband in! I know he'll be back! Dana, the man helping us, was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He explained his products and was very kind. Debit Card Fraud!!!! Went to purchase a few cigars for some friends, and they charged me an additional fee/tax for using a credit card. I thought I had already reviewed Embassy Cigars a few years ago? Guess I never got to it. Back then I would have given them four stars. As of my visit yesterday I'm feeling like it's more of a 5 star shop. The range of Cigars here is good and recently they have added 6 or more in the large to very large ring size. One called the Howitzer, so you get the idea. I have ordered these large ring cigars online before and I haven't had good luck with quality. Nice to have them available so close to home. The have expanded the showroom area to include a lot more humidors and other accoutrema. By doing that it sort of closes up the smoking area and makes it a bit more intimate, if you will? A great shop with great service. Plain and simple. Is it the cheapest place around? No, but a large selection of cigars have some good age on them, the people are friendly, and the selection available is great. There is something there that anyone would enjoy. Some reviews state that there are no pipes. This has changed over time as there are a couple dozen pipes available as well as a small selection of baccy (jars and tins). As far as cigar selection you will find Opus X, Lost City, Illusione, Tatuaje, RP, LFD, Padron, My Father, Fuente, Graycliff, Camacho, Partagas (even Partagas 150), and more. The walk-in has just been recently upgraded as well. The lounge is good enough to have a dozen or more people without any issues. We recently had a group of 10+ people hang out there for a few hours. We brought some pizza, watch the big screen, and chatted. The ventilation was upgraded over a year ago and it doesn't get all stuffy like most places. Plus, if you want, check out the restaurant a couple door down as they have some pretty good food and are cigar friendly on the patio. read more

I have just one word..."There are no pot pipes in this store" Well, OK. I have just 8 words. I don't know if I keep finding 'water pipe' stores that sell cigars, or if pot smokers have become more cultured since the 90's. You won't have that thought here. This store is an authentic cigar smoking establishment. You can buy a cigar and smoke it. You have a good price selection and many to choose from. But since a cigar is basically a social experience, at least if you want it to be, why not stay a bit and ask some questions, smoke to let others know what you selected, and make a friend or two along the way? Gary knows the selections he stocks. He can tell you about each make, how it smokes, why it's this or that, and he can help you find the kind of experience you are looking for. Including one that you can afford. The place has leather chairs and plenty of room. I noticed menus for take out, and I asked. If you want a pizza delivered, have one. How about that. It's rumored that if you are there, and you call some friends and they don't know how to get there, Gary will go and pick them up, just for asking. I could be wrong though. Been buying here for years.. couple promethus humidors, supply's, cigars..Bought a cutter that was defective (40$ no big deal) I took it back to exchange for another more expensive one.. to my surprise Gary said no exchanges.. he said that if he took things back that he would lose money.. it was my problem now. I was waiting behind another gentleman to pay for my four Ashtons and noticed the guy in front of me was given a very sizable discount on his 2 Ashtons. When I asked for the same discount, the short guy behind the counter told me "that guy is a regular customer". I've been going there for my cigars for 3 years...how "regular" do you have to be?? I printed out a coupon from the internet the following week. It was 25% off a box for all NEW customers. When I tried to use it, he informed me I was not a "new" customer. I'm done! Not everyone pays the same price, not everyone is treated equally and only his friends seem to get respect, attention and courtesy there. Embassy cigar is a decent local Cigar shop tucked away in Anaheim hills. Embassy carries all the norms Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta, Cao, Arturo Fuente, and many more. the shop also has a large selection of cigarettes, both foreign and domestic as well as tobacco accessories ( lots of cutters and lighters varying in price up in to the thousands). My real only complaint was the lack of pipe tobacco and pipe tobacco accessories. The shop changed owners several years ago and the previous owner would have pipe tobaccos and keep them in jars on the counter. They don't have any briar pipes, i believe i saw one calabash pipe under the glass counter selling for 200$. Whenever i go i am stuck buying a Missouri meerschaum corncob pipe and a pouch of captain black. Other than the lack of pipes its a great shop. read more
