5+++++ stars for Dr. Main and his entire office!…read more I have never written a review for a doctor like this before, but Dr. Main truly deserves it. I suffer from bipolar disorder, including manic episodes, some depression, anxiety, and difficult sleep habits. Over the years, it has not always been easy to find a doctor who truly understands the full picture -- but Dr. Main does. In 25 years, he is the only psychiatrist I have ever had who told me his personal goal for me was to help me decrease the amount of medication I was taking -- not only lowering prescription strengths, but reducing the number of medications altogether. My previous doctor had me on 10 medications. With Dr. Main, I am now on 4, with only an occasional extra when needed. He literally cut my medications in half. Dr. Main is not the kind of doctor who rushes you in and out in 15 minutes. He invests his time in you. He listens. He helps you create a real plan for your mental health challenges. He is kind, supportive, humble, compassionate, and open to what his patients have to say. He is never the "I'm the doctor, I know everything" type. He makes you feel heard, understood, and cared for. When I have missed appointments, he has personally called me. One time, he FaceTimed me because he was concerned, and when I told him my sister had passed away, he was incredibly supportive. He simply said, "Get back to me when you can. Take your time. But if you need me, I am here for you." That kind of compassion is rare. He also makes things so much easier when it comes to medications and refills. If I forget I'm running low, I can contact the office or reach out directly, and 9 times out of 10, the prescription is handled that same day -- worst case, the next day. In the beginning, I needed to see him more often, and he was there for that. As time went on, we both agreed telemedicine appointments worked well. When he started me on a medication for OCD, he checked in with me nearly every week for almost a month. I needed that reassurance, and he gave it to me. I truly never knew I could feel this good, this balanced, and this happy. Since becoming his patient, the world feels colorful again. I also wanted my son to see him, but unfortunately that would have been a conflict of interest. Dr. Main recommended another doctor in his office, Dr. Eugene, and I have never seen my son so balanced, happy, and able to fully live his life. I believe the entire team of doctors and PAs in that office is wonderful. They seem to share the belief that the traditional doctor/patient relationship has evolved -- and that patients deserve to be listened to, respected, and treated as whole people. Dr. Main is like a therapist and psychiatrist rolled into one. He remembers past visits, follows up on things we've discussed, and makes me feel like he truly cares. I could honestly write pages and pages about my experience with him. You seriously cannot get better than Dr. Main. I want to stand on a mountain and yell: Make an appointment! He is an incredible doctor -- open to new ways of treating patients, compassionate, attentive, and truly invested. Don't walk, run. You won't regret it. Type of care , I receive medication management with Telatha Surujnath. I've been seeing her for just about 5 years now and she's wonderful. She listens to you and hears what you're saying without taking over you . She also keeps you involved in your treatment, informed and understanding and supportive. She actually takes the time to get to know you personally which I find really important. The more she knows about you the better she can diagnose and treat your specific conditions, symptoms and concerns. do we butt heads from time to time but that's what makes the experience real you actually have a say and she takes it seriously and into consideration. No one knows us better than ourselves. So be honest if you want the best outcome for yourself they are not mind readers and not over worked like I hear many people say. Maybe just maybe she is a little drained at times . I would be too having to deal with what she must hear in a day. Care quality AAA+ Cassandra Fortunato, hands down the best therapist I've EVER had. I have been seeing Cassie for over 2 years now. I remember our first Telehealth appointment wondering who was going to be on the other side. When I saw her I instantly knew she was going to the perfect person for me. I was a mess when I started with her. She meet me where I was and I never sensed any judgment at all only concern. Cassie instantly put me at ease. I have many mental health issues and she guides me in the right direction as to let me figure things out but always there to pick you up if you fall. Her technique is unrivaled I don't know how she does what she does but it works if you put in the work. I have to have my 50 minutes of Cassie every week and my life has just been progressing in the right direction. Recommend labyrinth psychiatry? They charge you $50 to cancel your appt, and $100 if you miss it. Seems unreasonable if I have a good reason to change my appt, especially when I called ahead. Also, the doctor is very fast, in and out...doesn't take the time to really listen. If all you need is a script, she'll do, but otherwise she's terrible.

I have recovered well from both a knee and shoulder replacement, one following the other in a few months,and had therapy with Kris before and after the procedures. My husband is dealing with a chronic condition requiring therapy over a long period and Kris has provided wonderful support and assistance to him. I cannot say enough about Kris' responsiveness, encouragement, and very calm demeanor. He listens well to all our concerns freely offering helpful suggestions. Marcus, Jordan and John have been very helpful as well seeing to it that we are being cared for. This Twin Boro facility offers an efficient and friendly environment where everyone seems willing to pitch in. The office staff including Anastasia, Jan, Stephanie and Nicole are always friendly and willing to work with us and our changing schedules. There were several times when there were 6-10 patients there with only 1 or 2 physical therapists. The PT assistants were not good. They would approach me and ask "what exercises did you do last time"? Never checking my file or consulting with my "PT". I also thought that the staff had excessive conversations with each other about sports, places to eat and their weekends. I felt like I was at a "frat party" several times. Unprofessional in my opinion. They did not focus on the patients. They were quick to assign several exercises and then leave you to do them never supervising or checking if you were doing the exercises correctly. In addition, loud music was playing every time I was there ...the manager constantly changing it and checking in with the staff to see if they liked it. Really? The last appointment I had was a Friday at 3. There were 7 patients there while a baby shower (or some sort of party) going on during business hours!!!!!! All PT's and assistants were enjoying the party while we were sitting there for over 15 minutes waiting to start out session - SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I shared this with my Ortho Doctor and he said this was the only place he herd "not so good" things about this palce.

I had surgery here a few days ago and had an overall great experience…read more The check in process was quick and the lobby is clean, modern, and has plenty of seating. Once I was checked in, they let my husband come sit with me while I waited to go into surgery. I really appreciated this, since the last time I had a procedure at a different surgical center they didn't allow anyone that wasn't a patient beyond the waiting room. My surgery ended up being about an hour behind schedule (which of course feels like an eternity when you're fasting!) but the nurses kept giving me updates which I appreciated! Everyone I interacted with couldn't have been nicer, from my surgeon to the anesthesiologist to the nurses. They made a nerve wracking day less stressful and put me at ease. After my surgery, they let my husband come back to the recovery area and also had him pull the car up to the side entrance so I didn't have to walk too far. We felt like the surgeon and nurses did a great job explaining how everything went (and I received a check in call the next morning). Definitely a well-ran surgical center!

He has guided me through rehabilitation before and after two knee and one shoulder replacement. He listens and responds with helpful treatment and makes suggestions to help me get back to my normal functioning level. He has been wonderful with my husband, Kenneth who has Parkinson's and who he has also seen many times. Kris is sensitive and considerate and is always including therapy that is helpful to his changing needs. He has been a godsend and we are both so grateful. The staff and atmosphere in the Westfield office is wonderful. First we are always greeted with a smile. .Everyone at the front desk and in the therapy sessions seems eager and willing to pitch in. I do have several problems with the practice, for one the front office staff had no idea what was going on. I needed to return to leave another urine specimen, I was told when I called that I could come at any time and didn't need an appointment, when I got there nobody knew what to do with me nobody knew how to help me nobody knew who told me I could coming anytime. It was complete chaos. Fast forward, six months have passed and I just received a bill from Robert Wood Johnson billing department. When I call the billing department my first question was why I'm being billed for services that happened six months ago. The woman on the phone told me that they're just billing for visits I'm six months ago now. I also asked why I was receiving a bill I had insurance, the woman explained to me that none of that insurance information had be forwarded to them. I told her how is that possible I was seeing by the Robert Wood Johnson MD, Why would my information not be forwarded for Robert Wood Johnson billing department. I myself and a healthcare professional and I'm very frustrated by everyone's complacency with mediocrity in the workplace. All other aspects of business require people to be accountable, I understand people make mistakes however, this is not the first time that I've been sent a bill because someone didn't sell the proper insurance information. I would rather you're be a system where I can bill my own insurance company, it's very clear that everyone else doesn't know how to write a proper number or send the correct information to get the job done. I know I'm not the only person that has to then call the insurance company or call the billing department which wastes 20 minutes to an hour of my time. Lastly no one ever did call me and tell me what the results of my urinalysis was, I had to call to obtain the information. I was leaving for vacation was given a prescription, I did not want to take the prescription unless it was certain that I had problem with my urine. I am aware that usually you are not notified unless there is a problem with your urine however with the excessive use of antibiotics I would prefer to have a phone call so I did not have to take the antibiotics.
