I'm always nervous about going to…read morethe dentist because I've had terrible experiences where the hygienist working on my teeth are rough or the dentist/ hygienist/ staff are pushy with selling products. From the front desk staff, to the hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Andrea, my hygienist, was SO gentle. I've always had a difficult time with dental scans, but she made it so quick and painless. The cleaning was very thorough and I was comfortable throughout the entire time. The dentist was also very thorough with her exam and made additional recommendations with dental care, not pushing any particular products, but ones she personally recommended. I'm extremely pleased to have found a dental office I don't dread going to. Highly recommend this place if you are in search for a dentist in the area!

Both Sarah and Kaitlyn were so kind and patient with me - they explained what they were doing and why, showed me the tools, told me what they were doing, and told me there were some alternatives if I felt discomfort. They consistently asked me if I was comfortable and overall made me feel very cared for. Dr. Zain is also very gentle, and he goes out of his way to explain everything you need to know about your teeth and facial muscles. He also doesn't push unnecessary treatment - he prefers to try less intrusive options and wait to see if there's improvement. My crown fits perfectly and have had no issues. I personally do not have fears of going to the dentist, but I know for many the dentist can cause a lot of anxiety. I often wondered how someone could consistently provide such poor customer service and still keep her job...then I figured it out. You can't fire the owner. However, what kept me going back, was I thought I had a good doctor. I wanted to stay with a good dentist for the day when I was going to need some major work. Well that day came and he did a crown. After several weeks, I was still experiencing sensitivity on the crowned tooth. When I called the office, the front desk issued me a referral to an endodontist. The doctor never called or spoke to me to explain what was going on. The issue was just dismissed with a referral to go pay someone else, after I just paid him to put in a crown. Well, of course, I didn't need an endodontist. It was just a poorly placed crown, because the temporary crown had no sensitivity (which I explained to them when I called). That was confirmed when I asked another dentist to take a look. He found that the crown did not go to the full length of the tooth, and that my dental insurance would not cover any further work, because they say crowns are supposed to cover the entire tooth. Anyway, he performed a repair, and I did have to pay out of pocket.

The dentist and his assistant were also great. Very personable and professional. They gave my teeth a thorough cleaning without any pain or discomfort, then sent me home with a goody bag of toothpastes, floss, toothbrush, etc. Just 1 word of advice to the ladies, Dr. Cahoon is HOT so make sure you explain that the excessive drooling is not a pre-existing condition. ;)

I had a front tooth crown that I had been waiting for from my previous nightmare for over 4 months. Dr. Shirk assured me that we would get it taken care of with a local lab to match the shade. After a few tries (not the dentist's fault) but the lab, the lab finally got the shade right. Dr. Shirk would not stop until I was happy with the outcome and the shade matched to the rest of my teeth. I must say, I am impressed. Customer Service is very hard to find these days. Dr. Shirk goes above and beyond for his patients from my own experience. His assistant, Alex, is wonderful as well. I love walking into a dentist office where it's clean, the workers get along and are happy, and the dentist himself actually cares about his patient.
