I sent him a deposit in early May which he cashed immediately. We set up a meeting in Georgia (by his choice and he was originally from here) which he subsequently didn't show up for nor respond to me when asking him if he was coming. Not only did he not show but my MOH came in that weekend all the way from NC for the meeting. After many emails and FB posts (which I could supply), I decided I couldn't risk the big day with him so I asked for my money back to hire someone else. He not only has refused to send the money (after stating he would), then unfriended me on Facebook so I couldn't say anything and now I am having to go to court to get the money back. Not the things you want to be dealing with weeks before your wedding. So all I can say is be careful on giving this DJ service any money! Didn't matter. Rain day of? They helped with the new plan. I accidentally forgot to tell them we moved the ceremony up, they rolled with the punches and put on a heck of a party. My day of planner had never worked with them but she told me she was so glad she did and hopes she get to in the future.

His energectic personality was infectious. I found him to be very in tune with the atmosphere of the event all evening. He made necessary announcements when needed, in a dignified and professional manner. He played elegant, soft music while we ate dinner, and took requests all evening long. He was engaged with the guests and family all evening. By the time we had finished dinner, Shawn then turned it up a notch and had everyone in the room on the dance floor. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the grandparents were on the floor. So much of the mood at a wedding reception is reliant on the music and A DJ Connection, and Shawn were exceptional. I cannot recommend A DJ connection highly enough. They knew so much more about planning this type of event than I did and went so far above and beyond what was expected to make this a beautiful and memorable experience.
