Edit post: Micheal the owner contacted me regarding my disappointment with the company. He apologized for the lack of communication and the work done on my Jeep (first & second detail). He has refunded $100 of the $150 that was originally paid for the detail. He did offer to redo the detail but unfortunately with the holidays coming I didn't have the time to schedule a redo.... So he offered a partial refund. I appreciate the response and the attempt to make things right. I did change my review from a 1 star (original post) to a 4 star (after being contacted by owner with apology & refunded $100 of my original payment) I will keep my original post up because this is an honest review/ experience. Very disappointed with the detail and lack of communication. I called 11/26 to schedule appointment for 11/30 at 9am for both exterior and interior detail for our Jeep. We keep our Jeep fairly clean but I wanted to surprise my hubs with detail. I text prior to confirm appointment. Saturday 9am comes and goes... I text Chris several times to get a response on my appointment. He informs me that he gave detailer the wrong name and number to communicate with, that the detailer will be at my house at 3pm. Frustrated I wait. 3:30 detailer Thomas comes and says he just got my appointment 30mins prior and he hopes he has time to do the full detail since it gets darker earlier. I believe Thomas ran out of daylight and rushed to get it done. Thomas was pleasant, made small talk and I felt like poor guy made an effort (I tip him cash) because it was dark when he finished I couldn't see the final job (I didn't pay for full detail until I could see the final job). The next day 12/1 I reach out to Chris, sent photos of the detail and the disappointment I had on the finished job. He tells me not to worry a new detailer will be coming out to redo the details. Monday 12/2 to my surprise Thomas shows up at my home to redo the detail. This was awkward! I show Thomas the areas of concern that I wasn't happy with the previous detail. He tells me no worries I'll fix it. I leave him to do his work. After a while I go to check and Thomas is gone. He left without letting me know he was finished or do a final walk around. It looked as if he tried but failed to finish again. I'm not sure if my appointment was another afterthought but I text Chris again pics of the 2nd detail and lack of cleaning. Chris informs me I'm sorry to do this to you but I will have another detailer come out for 3 time but he needs me to Venmo the payment $150 for the new detailer. I Venmo payment thinking Chris is gonna make this right. I get a text from Thomas asking yet again to come and redo/finish the 3rd detail. I agree to give him another try.... My god third time it's gonna get better!! Nope I was ghosted by both Chris (I believe management of Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing) & Thomas the detailer. I believe that I gave several opportunities to make the situation right by both only to be ghosted after they received payment and made empty promises. Beware of this company and the work they do!! Pics from 1st detail: exterior- tire shine overspray on trim, bumper, rims and wheel well. Wheel unclean dirt still visible. Dust/dirt on hood and back door. Interior doors, floor mats , drink trays, chairs and trunk area unclean. 2nd detail: exterior- tire shine wiped off tires, bumper & rims but dirt still visible in wheel well. Do Not Use. Late for my appt, but gave a discount (Michael Hammes). Boat Oxidation and Ceramic Coat. Boat looked good until a month and a half later. Contacted ECMD and said they'd have someone come out and clean it up. No show. Contacted again but initially no response. Finally responded and said someone would come out. No show. ECMD again finally responded to my messages and made promises of an overhaul beginning of the 2025 Boat Season. Again No show and now he's "ghosting" me. ECMD is reading my messages but refusing to respond. Horrible Business. They're a ripoff. read more

Brought a second vehicle in for the same detailing after being contacted that they had "openings" and that the work could be performed by Saturday afternoon.... I have to believe they have no actual physical business address/garage because all the work is done from a detailer's house. This may not be comfortable for most customers. Much of the work couldn't be performed because of a rainy weekend, so the completion date was pushed until Monday. If they had a garage, this work wouldn't be dependent on weather like some ghetto hood outfit under a tent. I pulled the plug and picked the car up late Sunday night. $700 for an exterior enamel coating, no cleaning performed on the interior, and a litany of excuses why services weren't delivered. I got the premium detailing as a gift and was excited to finally have a sand free car. The first appointment they were late and so I called and Chris answered the phone and said that the truck coming was in an accident and would be able to make it. Okay fine no worries, so we rescheduled. The second time I was told they would show up between 9-10am, I called around noon to see if anyone had come, again Chris answered the phone and said that the guy was running late and would be there by 4pm, I said that wouldn't work because I needed to use my car at 5pm. He apologized profusely, told me they would add on a couple services with no extra charge. We then rescheduled for the THIRD time, he said I would be the first client of the day, but again no one showed, now no one is answering my phone calls, messages or emails that I have sent. I am not sure who runs a business like this, or why they have so many good reviews when I had a really bad experience. I have no idea if the family member who got the gift for me will get their money back. I see there are a couple other reviews similar to mine, this is unacceptable for a business to be run this way. read more

A well deserved 5 stars!!!!! I needed a full detail on my Jaguar F-Type convertible and called these guys. Dave came out the next morning to take care of my car. Guy on the phone was nice enough, but communication was bad. I booked my appt on Saturday the 19th for 3-4 on Wednesday the 23rd. I leave work early to get home in time. I call around 330 after no contact to verify my appointment, Chris says the guy is running late and will be there between 4-5, no big deal. I call twice at a 5 and 530 and get no answer, basically assume they're not coming. I get a call at 545 as I'm at the car wash doing it myself asking if we can reschedule for tomorrow morning... no, I can't do that. That's why I scheduled the evening. I'm sure they do an okay job, but I wouldn't be able to tell you. Don't even care about the being late, it happens. But just not calling until 45 minutes after my scheduled time to ask to reschedule is super annoying. Especially considering I could have ran my errands in all that wasted time. Definitely wouldn't recommend them. read more

My beautiful car has been looking rough due to hard water stains from our sprinklers, so after trying to do the work myself to no avail, and an exhaustive online search, I settled on and contacted Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing. I spoke to Chris and let him know what my main concerns were with the vehicle and we scheduled an appointment for this morning (Tuesday) between 9-10. They were running a little behind, however, Chris called ahead of time to let me know. Michael showed up (with a female and I am sorry but I did not catch her name) and we spoke for a few minutes and I showed him the concerns I had with the water staining the paint/windows/mirror. They got to work and after about an hour or so he knocked on the door and wanted me to see the outside before they proceeded with the inside. I was floored.... NOT. A. STAIN. IN. SIGHT. They proceeded with cleaning the interior... IN THE RAIN! My car looks just like it did when I drove it off of the lot last year. Both of them were so very kind and Michael answered all of the questions that I had. I will be scheduling a ceramic coating for my vehicle next week and I will recommend them to anyone looking for detail work. Thank you so very much Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing! If I could give no stars, I would. I called this place to get my car detailed and scheduled to come on Sunday. I called a couple of days later to see if I can re-schedule for Saturday instead, no one answered so I left a message. I never got a call back after that. Sunday morning, I get a phone call and asked if I still wanted to re-schedule and I said no and to just do it on the original day. He says okay and that he will see be at my house between 9-10. Five minutes later, he calls back and says that the person who was supposed to work on my car called in sick, which is fine - no big deal. We re-scheduled for Tuesday (today) between 9-10. He calls this morning around 9:45 to confirm my appointment and that the guys were on their way but running a little late. One hour later, no one is here. I called them and no one answered. I called them again and again, still no answer. It is now 12:00 with no one at my house or even a call back explaining this situation. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE. Save your time and money. They have the worst customer service and a very unprofessional staff. PLEASE DO NOT confuse this place with Emerald Coast Pro Plus Detailing. I had an issue with the first job but after submitting reviews they sent one of the supervisors (Michael) and he was very professional and was able to clean it on the spot and corrected the few spots that weren't done properly the first time. Highly negative review for Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing: My grandmother recently moved to Navarre Beach and was looking for an easy and affordable way to get her car detailed. After doing a simple search on Google, Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing had the largest online presence and offered a relatively cost effective detail that could take place at her condo. Excited to have her car throughly cleaned, she called ECMD and set up an appointment, two weeks before Memorial Day weekend. An appointment was set, and one day before it's arrival an employee from the company called her and asked to reschedule because it was a conflict on their end. Understandable, she complied and changed the time to what they suggested, Friday morning of Memorial Day weekend. Friday morning comes and she's waiting in the car port for a half hour with no detaliers in the parking lot. She calls the company and they tell her that they are not sending someone because a truck in their fleet was in an accident and the detailer scheduled to service the car felt like they had to go visit the affected driver in the hospital, conveniently on a beautiful start to the weekend. Keep in mind that she had to call them after waiting for a half an hour; they offered to reschedule for today (Tuesday, May 30) and she agreed. After waiting another 30 minutes on the THIRD scheduled appointment, I gave the company a call to see what was going on. The man on the receiving line said that due to a potential forecast of rain, they would not be sending anyone out. I asked why my Grandmother was not contacted after waiting on a second day to which he replied "oh, someone else was suppose to call her, we'll have someone call her within two hours". After ending the call, I let her know the situation and we decided to cancel our dealings with the company. I attempted to call them back to cancel and after two rings I went straight to voicemail. Emerald Coast Mobile Detailing may do a good job when they get to your car, but we will not be using them ever. They have the largest online presence, but that really doesn't mean anything if they don't deliver. If you are looking for a Detailer, there are plenty of other companies in the surrounding area who may have much better appointment setting, customer service and follow through. They arrived on time and did an amazing job with my vehicle. Once they finished I was surprised to see the owner show up and personally inspect the vehicle himself. I scheduled an appointment based off reviews I read online and the fact they are running a special for $129 for the premium detail. Being that the normal price for this is a $300+ value I expected a lot. I was greatly disappointed with the results I got. The first person showed up over a hour late and the second person even longer than that. When I stated I wanted the interior scotch guarded that person went to the store to get some and returned hours later. There were numerous things that were not accomplished. I was told that doing the buffing would make my car look worse than it did before they got there. It was stated that it would add swirls to my paint instead of removing the minor blemishes that buffing a car is supposed to do. For my understanding swirls would have only happened if done incorrectly. They were supposed to clay bar the car. This never happened either. Being that the detailing was done in such a hap hazard manner instead of in any kind of order, they left the scotch guard with me to do myself because my seats were too wet to get them done. According to their website the kind of detailing I received should have taken 3-6 hours. They were here for about 6 hours as it was and didn't do a lot of what they were supposed to do. I could only imagine how much longer it would have taken. The windows were terribly done because they were so smeared and streaky I had to get in and clean them myself. There was wax left in numerous places on the car to include on entire side mirror. I would not recommend this place if you want a quality detail completed. The best thing I can say about the work is that it did get some of the nasty spots out of my interior trim panels and the tires look amazing. read more
