My car was extra dirty. The overall experience was really good. I wish there was a location on Louisiana. The initial wash through the machine didn't get my car clean. They do provide you with spray bottles vacuums and towels to finish the job. I was there for over an hour but I got my entire car clean all the sand and everything. The vacuum could've been a bit stronger but I understand. After using a little elbow grease my car was spotless. The finishing area is pretty shaded and covered and they replenish the towels and spray constantly. there isn't a rush you can take all the time you need. It was well worth the money. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE the brand new car wash in Front of Home Deport on David highway! At first when I saw it being built I thought it would be so ugly & out of place weird looking. But, it looks great! First time in and the employees acted like I should just intuitively know the process. Ok they get tired of telling the public how a Carwash works. I can over look that. Then there's the results, I drive a black truck that I drove 400 miles to get here in. The ole girl needed a bath. However the finished product isn't great and certainly not worth the $30 for the top of the line wash. Several dirty spots left. Had to remove the bugs from the hood, head lights and mirrors in the detail bay myself. All in all to say I'm not impressed is an understatement. The results would be acceptable if I had paid $12 for a quick wash but for $30 I expect far better results. read more

Jeep owners beware! Jeep owners and anyone with exposed windshield wipers should be cautious about using Tidal Wave Car Wash due to a serious issue with their new dry "buffer" system. On my first visit, I paid $22.58 for a single wash, declining their initial attempt to upsell me on a monthly membership. Unfortunately, this turned into a costly mistake. After the blowers finished, a spinning buffer came down and caught my windshield wipers, ripping one completely off and damaging the other so badly it disconnected from the mechanism, making it completely inoperable. Now, I have to take my Jeep to a body shop for repairs. While the employee guiding cars into the wash was friendly and noticed something was wrong, no manager ever approached me after I reported the damage. After waiting 15 minutes, I went to the office booth and spoke with the district manager (DM). The DM was not helpful--instead, he accused me of having damaged windshield wipers before entering the wash and claimed that he runs hundreds of Jeeps through without any issues. He pointed out a small damage waiver sign that you can't even see until after you've paid and gone through the wash process. Although the DM refunded my $22.58 for the wash, his attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept his sunglasses on while addressing me, and after giving the refund, yelled across the parking lot that I could use the money to fix my windshield wipers. It was an awful customer service experience from start to finish. It's surprising to me that this problem hasn't been reported more often, especially with their new buffer system. If you have exposed wipers, I strongly recommend avoiding this place until they fix these equipment issues or improve their customer service response to incidents like this. 5307 N. my car was covered in sand and grit. I asked that the car be sprayed off well so that the sand would not get ground in by the wash (they have soft/chamois brushes, but sand can still scratch) The attendant sort of half sprayed it and mainly only the passenger side before I started moving. needless to say, it did not get clean and I have micro scratches in the hood. I brought it to their attention and asked for a refund. I was told "no refunds" they wanted to run it again but by that time the damage was done and I did not trust them. I will of course take it up with the credit card company first and then move forward with more aggressive actions. I only wanted a refund and did not ask for any thing more to compensate for my time it will take in order to buff out the clear coat and reapply a protective coating. Since they refused, if I take it further it will be much more than the original purchase price. read more

First time I went to Tidal Wave it did such a bad job on my car I hand to wash it by hand when I went home. Did not think it was worth the price paid and do not recommend it to anyone else. Find another car wash to wash your car unless you like wasting your money. read more

I love this car wash. For $30 I can get all you can wash for a whole month. The kids working there were friendly. I love the free self service vacuum. Powerful to pick up the sand in my car. Plus plenty of towels for me yo wife and clean my car. I'll be using that all you can wash at least once a week. read more

I agree with several of the other reviews, this by far is the best car wash in Pensacola. I have been coming here since they opened I left one that just went down hill in time. But this location is very consistent, they always brush you vehicle down not only a quickie on the windshield like most other places but they do the front grill, most of the time by hand do your mirrors, the windshield, back windows, and back of car, But after all that the wash itself does a great job. Then once you pull out you have a covered area to dry your car in which they offer free towels, and window cleaner. Vacuums that always work. Also they maintain the property in a spotless condition. So I truly believe any negative reviews are Bu------. Given the fact that they are using the owners name......This is a real review. and most likely I abuse the use of the unlimited washes per month since I go thru 3 to 4 time a week for a dusting......GREAT JOB KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Go somewhere else to get your car washed. I was told I would pay $30 a month to have my car cleaned but was charged 53.00 I asked for a refund due to being lied too and I was told I could not get a refund! The lady was very rude and unprofessional! I do not recommend this car wash due to the customer service! How do you say one price then scam and take another!!!
