If I could give zero stars I would! An acquaintance of mine (Mechelle Pasamonte) crapped/peed all over my house (too much Seroquel and laxatives, not a good combo after gorging on Mexican food) she hired Emerald to come clean the carpet. This was after I had spent countless hours scrubbing the carpet with bleach water and Lysol. The young man who showed up was very friendly and offered to clean the one side of my bed for free. The time it took him to do the carpet area and the bed was maybe 20 minutes. It took less than 30 minutes for everything to dry. Unfortunately, nothing smelled any different after the carpet dried and it actually seems worse than before! I would not recommend this business! read more

Don't let their weird name fool you, these guys do a great job with carpets and get an amazing amount of stains out. Like someone said before me, my carpets were cleaner in the apartment after they were done then when I moved in! The man that performed the cleaning was quick and friendly. Per our rental agreement, we got the carpets cleaned prior to moving out. Calling around we found that this service was much cheaper than the rental agency's suggestions, so we went with it. After he was done, the carpets were dramatically cleaner. Cleaner, in fact, than when we moved in. Old stains from before moving in which I thought were a forgone conclusion turned out to be much, much lighter, and in many cases, entirely removed. Great service. Outstanding prices. Way way better than steam cleaning (floor was dry in about 2 hours they finished after 7pm). They squeezed us in as the last stop of the day they stayed later, who does that? They got the whole house done the only day we could have it done! Very appreciative. I had high hopes for this company as the reception/office team was very professional and courteous and the estimate went smoothly with the technician appearing professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, on the day of service, the technician (who was 20 minutes late) "discovered" mid-service that he would need to use 8x as much product as the estimate stated. This is, in my opinion, a bait and switch. At best, it is a lousy system in which the estimator or the service person was way off base and I still would not use them again. I will recommend all my friends and neighbors use other services. The bill ended up being more than twice the estimated cost and the service person simply wrote down my credit card number to take it back to the office. I am very uncomfortable with this archaic practice as well as the horrendous service I received. read more
