He has successfuly cured a large ulcer and is treating Barrett's esophogus (which can lead to cancer), without resorting to adding multiple drugs to my list. The office staff can be abrupt, but stay knowlegable about alternate treatments, like diet and tests for possible causes like bacteria or funguses. I am not sure I like the Lima system for seeing nurse practitioners almost exclusively in the office setting. Those I have seen here are thorough, but have an abrasive personality. Dr. Solomon, however, is a model of care and respect for his patients. Perhaps the other person who reviewed Dr. Solomon would have been better served if he( had been a man and) had asked Dr. Solomon in post-op about what he heard. Even partially under anesthetics, it is hard to discrimnate voices, and colonoscopies require an anesthesetist and supporting assistants. Maybe he would have discovered real problems with his family doctor no matter whose voice he heard. If other physicians think his family doctor is incompetent, he should be sure they are not correct, so he can avoid a real problem with his health later.

One Monday, I woke up and was terribly sick, so I didn't go to work. My appointment was on my calendar at work, but since I didn't go in I had forgotten about my appointment and didn't reschedule. Next thing you know, I'm being charged a $20 fee for missing my appointment. I called and tried to explain the situation because I absolutely never miss appointments. When I called, the receptionist was rude, lacked understanding, and they refused to show any type of compassion for my honest mistake. The chiropractor also refused to talk to me or call me back despite multiple attempts to resolve. I take ownership for my mistake, but sometimes life happens. It seems that the people here are perfect, and never make mistakes. I hope my $20 was worth it because now you will be missing out on my monthly $50.
