We both eventually moved towards our career professions and for her that was photography. Over time, I saw her amazing photography online and I couldn't wait to hire her for my own wedding. Luckily, my chance came and captured all of the special moments from the engagement to the wedding. Marissa traveled to Wichita, KS for both the engagement session and the wedding. She was completely onboard with this commitment and was never late or made us feel like she was tired from traveling. She met us super early in the morning so that we could capture the most beautiful sunrise photos for our engagement shoot. She was an absolute trooper and never complained about carrying the heavy equipment that early in the morning. She took the time to ensure that we got the most beautiful photos. At the wedding, Marissa was very professional and everyone loved to be around her. Not a shocker - she captured the most phenomenal photos! We have shared so many of them with friends and family, and we all can't believe some of the angles and perfect lighting that she was able to capture. Website photos looked great and it seemed they specialized in child/family. I called to reserve and got Dan the husband answering the phone and setting up the appointment. First time out, I got lost and one of the godsons had a major car sickness accident. So rescheduled and made it for another time. It is in the lower half/ walk-out basement of their home. Be aware that there are plenty of steps down before you get in the studio. The setup very nice. Plenty of toys to keep the kids entertained. Angie was nice and professional. A week later I returned to view the pictures she took. Back down to the studio she has a comfortable viewing section with overhead projection. I easily made my selections and was handed a menu of packages and prices. I paid half and was told in around 4 weeks I would get a call for pictures done and pay other half.

Our 2nd session was in her studio with a Christmas Theme. She has tons of back drops and a mobile studio. She also does photo outings so you pick the place and she will meet you there to do the shoot. She does special photo sessions as well like parties, events, business photos, etc. She is extremely professional and great at getting you to relax and look natural in the photos. She has a knack of catching you in the photos where you look so normal and not staged or posed. She also does most of the pictures for the Patriot Guard, which I think is incredible! They are a great cause and her pictures reflect the heart and soul of these people. She takes all the photos digitally and edits them for you and then brings you or mails you the disc so you can upload them to a site and print them or take them to a shop and print them. We did a 30 min session and a 60 min session. She will be our go to photographer from now on. I recommend her especially if you have had issues in the past having your photos come out looking awkward. She just has the talent to make everyone look great.

The philosophy is great- there are no leads and no one has to audition so everyone gets the benefit of performing without the competition. The students are well taken care of, the staff is passionate and flexible, and the plays are entertaining and fun for the kids to perform. This is a great inexpensive summer activity that allows students to learn a new skill and make new friends. The best part is watching students go in through the doors nervous and shy and then see them perform two weeks later with pride and confidence. Great place!
