The garland exceeded our expectations and the florals were abundant and beautiful. I made first contact with Emily a few weeks before our event, recognizing that we were on short notice. As an out-of-towner, I was planning and organizing from a distance and rather in the dark. She was bubbly and helpful as she helped put a vocabulary to the types of flowers and the mood we were going for. Since Emily was booked, she suggested another floral artist she trusted, and let me know that while she couldn't full-service the event, she'd be happy to help and to give her a call back in a few weeks. A few weeks later, I gave her a call and by our lucky stars we were able to sneak into her order for the upcoming weekend. We landed on a 12ft garland and a hefty bucket of mixed flowers to paint a romantic, organic mood for the couple. My flower arranging skills are amateur, but I know enough to be dangerous, and Emily filled in a few gaps in my knowledge to help us out for our event (lakeside wedding ceremony followed by dinner for 17). The garland was perfect for the arbor and transported easily from her studio to the ceremony site and then to the restaurant to continue its life as ambient decor. The bucket of flowers were simply gorgeous - she sourced high-end stems and fillers that were enough for the romantic bridal bouquet, two large centerpieces, and five small table pieces. And they lasted for more than a week! The value was incredible. Emily's approach is collaborative, helpful, creative, and budget-conscious. If I had to do it all over again, I would call EH Florals without hesitation.
