Fried fish, baked fish, haluski, macaroni and cheese, pierogies, gobs (whoopie pies to those of from New England, some of them in heretical flavors), most of it homemade and made with tender loving care by the parish's women. It's both plentiful and delicious, which can be a bad combination if you're counting calories, but as a once-a-year indulgence it's divine. This year was our second, and I think we're going to have to schedule our spring visit for pre-Lent weekend every year.

The church members were friendly and welcoming. They have a very efficient system for paying, seating, serving the food, and cleanup. The cost was $10 for a dinner that included choice of fish, crab cakes, or chicken. The fish and chicken choices were either fried or baked. There are plenty of sides to accompany your meal, along with dessert.
