I did a quick search and found Corwin Florist in the next town over. From the reviews they looked like they had a good reputation so I called. Colleen picked up the phone, awesome person. I explained what had happened and she told me they were busy but she thought she could fulfil the order. I felt relief at those words. Placed my order and prayed for the best. I still wanted a beautiful piece, something worthy for my sister but I felt like I'd have to settle for whatever they sent. I was out of time. However, Colleen came through, she sent a gorgeous piece and it meant everything on a sad, bleak day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I wasn't a previous customer, I was a stranger to her. (from my aunt's perspective, her niece made a thoughtful gesture -- to have someone show up and take the flowers back or add some flowers only makes what was originally perceived as a nice gesture, awkward -- which an unnecessary thing to put my sick aunt through). Kim responded that SHE wouldn't be embarrassed (right, because it was ALL about her) and called me "too uptight". Anyhow, she continued to talk over me, refusing to let me get a word in edgewise... and then she hung up on me. Makes me super sad because I was being soooo nice and careful with what I was saying.
