I was in the area so I decided to drop in with my son to get him a hair cut. There was a barber available right away so we didn't wait at all. He was nice and friendly. I spoke to Nico the barber who claimed to be an expert at beard trims. He proceeded to completely destroyed my full length beard. He assured me he would only "take off a half inch" of my fully-grown beard. Huge mistake for trusting him. I just can't believe he is allowed to work there after he completely butchered a fairly routine beard trim. I was in shock as soon as I felt his clippers start scraping under my chin and completely expose my entire jawline and neck without warning! He didn't even use a comb to even out the trim which was uneven and lopsided even though I was left with almost no beard...my fully-grown 1 year old beard taken off without any warning!!!! Now attempting to regrow the beard and most awful scratchy & itchy phase has starting all over...horrible experience!!!! read more

Came across this shop from searching on Yelp and I am very happy I did because they did not disappoint. I was wolfing, so I stopped in around 2PM and they were pretty lowkey at the time. These guys are all friendly and accommodating, which is important because the shop I was going to had some guys that were pretty intimidating and standoffish. I got my cut with Danny P. and he was amazing! Sometimes guys at barbershops go a little overboard and practically give me a fade, but he listened and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Quick, easy and painless. All the guys were pretty friendly and the shop itself is pretty sleek. I was able to get my cut, have lunch, and make it back to work right on time. Called the day after Christmas and was told there's no wait, went over got right in the chair. Gabriel took care of me , it's been two months since I've had a cut and I've been looking for a new place since my old one went out of business ( could never get in even if you have an appointment it would take a 1/2 hour or longer) . I think the level of service here is very good , he listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions. I came out looking better than when I went in . No oops with the straight razor, cleaned up my beard my hair and me , I am happy with the service and price. I'll try them again in two weeks and see how it goes. So their window says scissor cuts... I walk in, "go with this guy" they say... (side note- by scissor cut I would assume they know how to cut hair with it; my 1 year old knows how to cut with scissors too). So I've recently moved down into the area from New York and I've been looking for a new barber. It has not been a good experience. People say men will cheat on their girls faster than they'll cheat on their barber lol. In any case this was the second time I've come here and over all it's very chill, welcoming and professional atmosphere. The first time I went it was a decent experience, and the barber took his time, and although my cut didn't come out quite as I expected it was done well. I blamed that on myself for probably not being as clear as I should have. I had the same barber for the last 12 years and all I had to do was sit in the chair and left it to his capable hands lol. Well, I went to try again recently and only one barber was available. DC, I think that was his name. I asked for a fade, nothing off the top and a hard part. He seemed to know what he was doing until he pulled out the straight razor. He threw on a blue surgical glove and then it it turned into a scene from game of thrones. When he finished he used a spray bottle to apply alcohol which I've never seen before or even felt before, for that matter. In the end I have a crooked hard part and neck line that now has scabbed over because he clearly didn't know what he was doing with that straight razor. Well, the search continues. read more

These guys are generally good, but their management of the order of customers is definitely lacking. If a customer has an appointment they throw off the line of everyone else, even if you've been waiting for over an hour. There should be a bit more control of that, and it would be a 5/5. The shop was almost empty when I arrived but I received a friendly reception and fortunately Lou was available. Outstanding, is the short answer regarding Lou's work on my hair and beard. Lou is a skilled barber with an extreme attention to detai. I understand now why other reviewers drive up all the way from Dade County for his services. Extremely impressed with the service and attention I received. I was introduced to the owner of the shop, his names Edgar, which is also my name! He was a cool guy, while I was getting prepped up to get my cut I was offered water and snacks by the local barbers, they treated me as if I were family(mind you this was my first time there). I've never gotten a hair cut at a barber shop due to the fact that I like my haircut done with scissors to achieve more of a stylish cut rather than a sharp-edgy look. Prada took care of me and was very understanding to how I wanted my hair. After he gave me a skinned blow-out he started cutting the top with scissors and gave the cut the style I was looking for. I was a bit nervous because I needed a cut for my California trip and I couldn't have gotten a better cut and customer service any where else.
