We hired Deckify to build a relatively complex 800 square foot deck around our new pool, and every step of the project went well, from the first phone call to Deckify to the follow-ups after the completion of the project. When we first reached out to discuss the project in March 2023, there was still a lot of snow on the ground.  While many companies told us to call back in the spring, Kevin came out to see us that very weekend.  He shoveled snow around our house and the old deck to make room to take measurements, spent a lot of time discussing the project with us, and immediately started designing the deck on his laptop to give us a sense of  options and prices.  We had a follow-up meeting a week later and, with Kevin's advice and guidance, found ways to adjust the design to meet our budget.  He then created a detailed project plan and work began as soon as the weather permitted.  The Deckify team and suppliers that they work with were all excellent - thank you to Danny, Franz, Evan, and everyone else involved.  The project took several weeks to complete, and communication was very good throughout.  We had to make a few adjustments along the way, and Kevin was very helpful and responsive in answering my many questions, always provided expert advice, and was very accommodating to make the required changes. The end result was excellent - a beautiful deck, built on time, on budget, and the entire process exceeded our expectations.  Overall very professional, friendly, flexible, responsive, competitively priced and all around terrific. We met with their lead salesman, Colin, and he was fantastic. He was clear, open and honest and told us exactly what we should expect to see. They used a really cool 3-D modelling software (super modern!) that allowed us to plan out exactly how our deck would eventually look in our actual backyard. I didn't feel "up-sold" at all and it was super cool to see and hear all the options that we could choose from in order for us to pick what would eventually look best in our backyard (we even kicked around the idea of including a half-pipe for skateboarding and a fireman pole to get from the upper level to the lower level which was super fun although my wife eventually kiboshed the ideas...). My husband and I were doing some spring cleaning and had to get rid of some burned out light bulbs. This Rona location takes them. They have some boxes by the entrance for light bulbs (CFL and fluorescent tubes), batteries and leftover paints. Since you can't throw out these items with your regular garbage, it's handy to know where you can offload them. Since we were already there, we poked around a bit. Rona is the type of store that my husband and my dad like. Me, not so much, haha. Their prices are the same as Home Depot and Lowe's. The store wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning. It gets busier later in the day, especially in the Spring and Summer months. Lots of free parking available. (96)

Last time he came by, he realized that he completely forgot to order the handrail when he was supposed to come and finish everything up, his first measurements were 10 weeks ago to give context, it has a 4 week turnaround for the size. He came by and talked often with no purpose, often forgetting to get things he came for like paint for risers. He had many comments that were rude and offensive that he claimed was "sarcasm". Truly incompetent. Stay away. Go with Accurate Stairs or Can Air for professionalism.
