I was…read moreunpleasantly surprised by how few places were true coworking spaces with availability for day passes in the FLL area. Finally I found Axis online and it was excellent. My first day I worked in the flexible open space on the first floor. Seating was ample and comfortable. Kitchen was handy (purchase your own snacks will a self checkout iPad). Being on the first floor, it had direct access outside and waterfront views for great walks during breaks. The second day I reserved a private office. That was on the third floor and it was a nice spot. Walls are glass so if you're doing anything proprietary or notably private, it won't meet your need there. WiFi was good. Also, special thanks to the staff for helping me with some annoying network needs. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the day. It's important to know you have to pull up to the building and valet park. The parking was free iirc. Enter the building and inform the building security on the right that you're visiting Axis. They have to let you in. I didn't find that super clear. They're also (understandably) strict on the 5:00 pm closing time if you're not a member. Use the valet ticket to call your car before coming out (valets prefer it, actually).

What an adorable little shared office complex in the heart of Wilton Manors!…read more A very well air-conditioned shared office facility with about 12-16 parking spots out back and some limited street parking. Offices appear to be adequate for a 1-person type of operation. Very well lit hallways and modern treatments, smells clean and new. A very beautiful set of shared conference rooms with room for about 6-8 persons, well decorated, well lighted and some visual furnishings in the case you have a client visit. The front door is a little hidden at an angle to the street, which can be nice to lower the noise intrusion, but may be harder for a customer to find the entrance, but well signed and a big TV to call attention. The little kitchenette in the back has a clean sink, microwave and small fridge with enough space for 3-4 people to comfortably move around in, but no seating area. It appears there was some shared area for file storage as well, but not sure. I can't tell you what the rates are, but if you run a one-person-band and this locale is the center of your clientele, I would totally recommend it.

Parking is a bit pricey at $20 for all day/working hours. However, if you go there to work and head out to dinner on the strip afterwards then it's worth it (since parking is terrible in las olas). When I first entered the office I was greated by Christina, she helped me get setup and showed me my office. The space has meeting rooms (separate reservation if you need to use them), free coffee / tea, microwave, essentials in bathrooms and printing / copying resources. The kitchen also has a nice view to the city. One of my favorite perks of this space is the location, you can walk to nice restaurants for lunch or my fav - grab a dessert or coffee nearby. However, what really makes this place truly different and valuable from other spaces is the awesome customer service. Christina helped me with EVERYTHING. She went out of her way to give me recommendations for lunch, helping me with IT printer issues, among other things. There are even treats that are brought in once in a while (e.g. bagels). If you are a remote employee or have your own business then I definitely recommend using this space!

The interior design of the space was amazing and they had multiple options for where you can get work done. You could choose a conference room, private room, table, or a relaxing sofa. They even have a coffee bar inside, a glam room, and a place to record podcasts. Visiting the space is the perfect option if you work remote and need some inspiration for your job. Two long battered yellowish picnic style tables provided for public use under the wood slatted roof. Ordered a doppio espresso which translates to a double espresso for $3.25 although the member price would be discounted to only $2.50. It was very tasty and was most likely a Colombian blend. There is a $100.00 monthly membership fee to receive benefits and entry to the inclusive WorkSpace. Got a quick peek from the small walk up window to the interior which looked like a regular cafe. Not sure if there was more to offer but not gonna pay to see it.

Do Not Rent at Regus Cypress Park West - Dirty Office + Unauthorized Charge…read moreI rented an office at Regus Cypress Park West for 9 months. The office was never properly cleaned or restored before I moved in. There was thick dust everywhere (including behind furniture), patched holes in the walls, dirty baseboards, and filthy carpet. What made it worse is that the rest of the building was in the same condition -- dusty hallways, dirty paintings, and neglected common areas. This clearly wasn't isolated to just my office. They still charged me a $560 "restoration fee" without inspecting the office or doing any work. After I disputed the $560 restoration fee and filed a Small Claims case against them, they still charged my card $560.05 anyway without authorization. I needed a clean, reliable space for work (I have a child with special needs), but instead got poor maintenance across the entire building and dishonest billing. I am currently pursuing this matter legally, including the return of my security deposit. I have videos and photos of both my office and the common areas.

Staff all changed within the last year to two years. Management refused to cancel a lease agreement…read morethat was "auto-renewed" without my permission. Due to their renewing of a lease without permission, the management is refusing to reimburse my security deposit, retainer and have now proceeded to put this amount for a lease I never agreed to with collections. Customer service offers no help. Front desk offers no help. 0/10 would recommend this location, you will be sorely disappointed with the new manager. DO NOT bring your business here.
