The project was supposed to take 90 days or less. It has now been over 200 days and it is almost done. Utility companies would show up to move lines that he was supposed to dig up and it wouldn't be done so I would have to leave work to try and get it done before the utility company got there. We had rain in December after they cut open part of our roof and they didn't seal it so our upstairs flooded. His brother came and threw a tarp up which did nothing to stop the flooding so I had to spend 4 hours in the freezing rain making an actual solution. I asked him to come to fix it but he said he couldn't that night. The contractor that poured our foundation showed up several months later and told us that Devin wouldn't respond to his calls or texts and if he wasn't paid soon he would, unfortunately, have to put a lien on our house. He left snow and ice on the addition floor that warped the floors and needed replacement TWICE. He would always say he was going to be there at a specific day and time and never show up or call. This happened for over a month at one point. He is by far the worst contractor I have ever worked with and don't want anyone else to fall into the trap. He always has an excuse and is pretty convincing, but don't buy the lies. Do yourself a favor and hire a different contractor.

While it's time-consuming, it is not especially complicated and well within what a contractor should be able to handle. Despite this, their two-person crew took about five hours to complete the job, which was far longer than expected and ended up costing more than the bed itself. More concerning, the bed was assembled improperly. I only discovered the extent of the problems later when movers struggled to take it apart and noted that parts were over-tightened and stripped. Reassembly ultimately proved impossible. The drawers had always stuck after the original assembly, but I didn't realize how badly the bed had been put together until it had to be taken apart. In the end, I was forced to dispose of the bed entirely. Between labor costs and failed reassembly attempts, I spent well over $1,500 on a bed that originally cost under $400. This was an expensive lesson in trusting a service that did not deliver competent or professional work.
