On May 23rd, I came home from a 15 hour work day and found our balcony completely littered with tar paper, nails, roofing, and other materials. I walk out barefoot to water plants every evening and stepped on a nail but thankfully not anywhere that could have punctured my foot. Luckily. Upon further inspection, our rain gutters, and the roof tiles had materials in them too. The next storm would have made a huge mess with that. I called Mark to resolve this and they did clean that portion. They parked their trash dump trailer directly in front of our unit and threw the trash off the 3rd story roof and let it fly wherever it could go. I personally picked up nails in the parking lot so no one would lose a tire. Exactly around the same time we started having issues with one of our air conditioner units. This was conveniently after I spoke to Mark from Dunne. Our technician we use for air conditioning has been to our unit twice. Both times after roofers have been on our roof. The first contractor I don't remember who is was but I'll remember Dunne forever. For this occurence our technician notified us that they used our AC unit to plug into for their tools, not that big of a deal but they left that power outlet open to the elements and generators work too. That doesn't let the customer pay for the power usage though. Also, our air conditioning unit was intentionally drained of 1lb 3oz of refrigerant. The access to the roof is high up and we've had a lot of technicians turn us down for the job before we found our guy from Grafi. In his opinion, Dunne's roofers intentionally drained the refrigerant. It's not difficult it's like letting air out of a tire. But this caused our unit additional stress in this heat, and more money out of our pockets for the technician visit, and extra power used to have our AC unit constantly running. Another neighbor complained about Dunne and her AC technician found a boot print kicked into the cooling fins of her AC unit. Additionally, a friend in the community found trash all around their unit when they had AC issues. I currently build and maintain high voltage power lines, but I have done every kind of contract work in construction from roofing to concrete and everything in-between. I've never operated in the way Dunne operates, nor any contractor that I worked for. Their obvious distaste for being clean and courteous, and their spiteful behavior towards the people footing the bill is enough for me to leave this review. The owner, Mark, is a human piece of garbage that saw zero error in the way his guys handled the job. His lead on site reflected Mark's attributes and the poo keeps flowing down hill from there. Can't leave zero stars so they get one. Hopefully yelp still allows pictures to be posted.

Every time it rained the roof continued to leak, over and over and over again. We called him to come fix it, he'd show up but still never fixed the problem. I have been dealing with a leaky roof now for 2 years after spending $8,000 on it. I'm extremely frustrated, disappointed and feel as though he scammed us. I would never use this company EVER again!

Also, I was getting ready to sell my home, and wanted to be sure there were no pre-existing issues. TRM arrived on-time, and were very polite and courteous. Nick quickly grabbed his ladder and got to conducting his evaluation; pulling up several roofing tiles and getting a good look at what was going on. Naturally, I was expecting doom and gloom, and thought I'd be told the entire roof is in need of replacement. Much to my surprise, Nick came down and told me that my roof had been recently serviced, and that my roof easily had 10+ years of life left. TRM could have taken advantage of the matter, but instead, being Veteran owned, showed integrity and character in that they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. They even provided a written inspection report at no cost, and told me that I should apply two coats to elastomeric coating on our patio cover to extend it's life due to a small amount of granular degradation. Alan was not only someone that came out to my house to view the damage and prepare an estimate for me, but testified to the damage in court against previous persons work. I was very nervous about having to find another company and Alan put me at ease. His boss called me personally to answer all of my questions and after meeting with several companies, I chose Glendale Roofing to do the job. This is really a mixed situation. I've had several companies try to get my roof handled through…read moreinsurance and this is the only company who got it done. The roof so far looks good but I'm waiting for the rains. This company starts off strong but once they have your business that's when the lack of communication starts. They were billing my insurance so much that I had to sit and go over everything they had itemized. One was for skylights I don't even have. And when it came to the insurance, I felt like I was doing most the work having to be the go between and try to get their checks. This roof is probably one of the most expensive roofs after it was all said and done for being just shingles. I've not heard from the sales rep in probably 3 months but get a call from their manager the other day pretty much accusing me of not completely paying, when I try to arrange pick up of the remaining balance several times. The roofing crew left nails a debris all over my yard and I'm still cleaning up. My opinion, if you use them. Document everything. I did on this one and feel like it's really going to be important I did.

His quote was delivered within a day and well documented with what would be delivered. Compared to the other estimates for the same work, Eli was in line with the average pricing. A little bit higher but his professionalism was a clear standout that added to the decision of selecting his company. Eli visited again to do a walk through before we signed off on the plans and payment terms. I greatly appreciated his attention to detail and in person management of ensuring we were all on the same page. He estimated the work would begin in two days and the crew promptly arrived as expected. Despite me asking for an additional piece of work, they finished on time and we're very pleased with the quality of the work. They were incredibly respectful with regular updates, requesting if it was ok to leave certain equipment overnight and keeping a clean job site. We've had other work done where we end up cleaning up after the crew but that was not our experience here. At the end of the project, they power washed everything and walked us through the project to ensure everything was to our satisfaction before final payment.
