Beer is old and they don't remove it from the shelves past due, but at least it's there. Prices ridiculously inconsistent where a $4 pack of craft will run you $15 while a regular bottle is $10, but when you gotta bring some beer back to the hotel in TriBeCa, it is what it is. Selection good and it meets the needs, just ask for the price before shelling out the cash.

We knew that the lottery machines were closed for ordering regular Lotto tickets, we understood they closed around 10 p.m. but when we asked the worker to purchase multiple scratch offs he told us no because the scratch off is closed at 10PM. Me and my wife are Hispanic and he is of a different descent -please see the photo attached as we do not have his name. We were told by him that we cannot order any scratch off lottery tickets at that time. We found it awkward because we never had this problem even at that same store as I have been going there for the last 30 years or so as it is half a block away from my apartment.. so me and my wife went outside waited about 2 minutes and asked a Caucasian male that was on his way inside the store to please purchase us a scratch off ticket, we gave him the cash and sure enough he came out with the ticket. He came out and handed it to us with no problem (see attached picture for exact ticket). We in turn walked back into the store and said hey you just sold that gentleman outside lottery tickets that were scratch offs.. when we asked you a minute ago you told us that it was closed why was that?? We were told that we were not of a certain kind he asked us if we were "gypsies"? Why this was we do not understand or know. I am just writing this to you guys to inform you that this should not be accepted in this year and in this time. This type of discrimination involving someone who is licensed to sell tickets with your name New York lottery attached. It's despicable behavior and we believe these times have passed.
