Poor workmanship! We…read morehired the company to remodel our house. For the office, old floor was removed and new floor was installed with luxury vinyl plank. However, the floor starts cupping and creates large gaps under the trim which allows cold air from the garage to flow in. The window trims installed also have large gap underneath, on top or on the side. Bathroom tiles installed are crooked and uneven. Some with grouts on top of the tile. The grouts also start having crack and holes on them after a month. The bathroom sink leaks and the shower hot/cold water is on reverse. We called the company to fix the problem, and they promised to stop by with a time and date. However, no one stopped by and we did not get any notice. After couple unsuccessful attempts to have them stopped by, they blamed us for not giving them reasonable time to respond even though they were the ones who made the appointment to stop by in the first place. We stopped contacting the company out of frustration and headache. There are also minor issues such as bedroom door not closing properly. Overall, very disappointed at the poor workmanship on the jobs done.

These guys did great interior work and the painter they used was clean and efficient. Now my ins agent from Metlife in Albany was a nightmare....... there were two leaks and she just blew the smaller one off saying it would "dry up on it's own" as the ice melted. Well, she just didnt want to put both leaks on the same claim so it turned out that eventually I had to open ANOTHER claim 2 years later when the 2nd leak got bigger and lo and behold, it was less than my deductible to fix. I got a local roofer to do the repairs the second time.

They set paper on the floor all the way to my basement, put plastic on absolutely everything, and the site supervisor, Marco, made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way. The branch manager even showed up at 11PM to make sure we didn't have any questions and to guide us through next steps. I've used Service Master in the past and was so happy we chose to use them again!

About a month later, he told me he couldn't cut a hole for a deadbolt, because the wooden door was "too old". I easily showed Teddy how to do so, on the very same door, which was actually relatively new. As my tenant, he quickly became a nuisance, texting at all hours. I couldn't meet his expectations. Ultimately, I decided not to renew his lease, because he kept pressing for permission to make unnecessary repairs, thereby reducing rental payments owed. For example, he complained about a supply line leak above the shower within the first week. He said he replaced "all the plumbing" at a gym in Cahoes. I declined his offer to remedy the issue; the drips of water were produced by condensation, not a leak. He said he handled housekeeping for various Airbnb units throughout upstate NY. As I'm an experienced Airbnb host of 7 units, this falsehood became abundantly clear. My experiences with Ted Biddle would be laughable, if not for fear of sinister intent. I'm worried for the safety of my 80 year old stepmother, who owns and resides in the property where Teddy is holding over in my 3rd floor apartment, with all of my furnishings, which I regrettably subleased to him. We hired the Jafri company to clean and repair all of our family owned rugs, needing new fringe on…read moresome & some weaving on others. One of the oldest Iranian rugs, which was used in our foyer, came back, completely unusable with huge ripples in it that would not lay flat. Upon asking Mr. Jafri to take it back and stretch it and make it usable again, it took another six months, and still was not flat. I told him that we would be putting a claim in his insurance for the value of the rug and he claimed that this time he would make it better After another five months, it came back. It was better, but it's still not flat. He claimed he had to send it somewhere overseas to get it stretched . the rug is now a tripping hazard. Jafri offered no refund or compensation even after we spent $25k with him. I do not recommend this company

Words can not describe how thrilled I am to have found these experts on cleaning rugs. I had three…read moreold, filthy braided and an old old {like at lest 75 years old} fine but filthy wool Oriental rug that I had to make the decision to either pitch, or find a miracle worker. Seeing that float tanks were the way to clean these rugs, I finally found Jafri Rugs in Albany, about two hours away. The picked up my rugs, did their magic, and the suggested repairs of new side binding and fringe {the fringe on my 75 year old Oriental was like a bad comb-over, with some of the weaving coming apart} were worth it, the Oriental is luxurious and soft and gorgeous. I am seeing colors in it I never saw before. After getting them back and walking on them with bare feet - the wool braided rugs are SO soft and my feet love them. Even the dog has ceased to jump on the couch and now lies on the braided rug. Not scratchy and dried like how they were when I received them. I swear each rug was ten pounds lighter. I am indebted forever for these experts saving my grandmother's and mother's hand braided and cherished rugs. Even though I was far away, they picked them up and dropped them off. I did have to wait a bit, but realistically I had sat on these things for years trying to find a solution, so why get cranky asking someone for a two week turnaround? Besides, I had already tried getting one of the rungs cleaned by an "antique rug cleaners" expert and I still had dirty heavy scratchy rugs. It was the holidays and they wanted to make the trip back when they had a few more clients up my way. This made sense, and it was worth the wait. Don't hesitate calling them, forget the cost, fall in love with your treasured family rugs and consider the cost as you are working with rug artisans. Pay their worth and stop thinking in Walmart Rug mode. Recycle, and Re-use. Stop throwing good rugs away. An aside, Humza and the staff who picked up and delivered the rugs are pros at making you feel like you are their favorite customer, genuinely. Customer Service was beyond expectations wonderful. Thanks for giving me back my cherished family heirlooms, better than how I received them. Beautiful and talented work, they are the poets of fine rugs.
