The teachers, the curriculum and the facility are positively amazing. I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with our experience. We live a decent distance away from the school and Jack's mom drives him from our home on the South Shore to Newton... To those of you from the area, I hope this points out just how great we think the school is, that we'd travel that far. We look forward to Jack's third year with the school next year!

The school itself... pristine... locked/gated/beautiful grounds and play areas. The place is safe, the teachers are AMAZING... they care and they know what they are doing. The activities, learning plan, etc.... WOW! The families... the sense of unity in the various families who attend this school... WOW! I really cant express how amazing this place is. My daughter is learning so much from the curriculum and it is effortless. The encouragement, professional staff, cleanliness, lesson plans, overall environment... it just cant be matched. It's such a beautiful, bright and clean room, and the staff who take care of my kids are consistently fabulous -- a huge improvement from my previous gym which shall not be named where most of the staff didn't even seem to enjoy children. But the staff in the Kids Corner seem to genuinely care for the children and seem happy to be there! My daughter sucks on everything within a 2-foot radius, and I was happy to learn that they routinely clean the toys that have been sucked on! A couple other pluses: I love that the treadmills are equipped with live TV, Netflix and Hulu. The front desk staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a pretty wide variety of classes and I can't wait until the baby's nap schedule will allow me to partake in some! And the steam room! Ahhh, the steam room. A couple of things that I wish could be improved: 1) The parking. Though there is a TON of parking, it somehow doesn't seem to be enough! Around 10am on weekdays, it's pretty tough to find a spot. 2) The locker room is a little dingy. Clean, but it just feels old. Lastly, there is one huuuuuge plus that I didn't even know I needed: Diversity. Yes, you heard that right. Diversity. In Newton! Really! I love that when I bring my kids here, they will see people of all races, ages and abilities both as members and employees! I see people being treated with respect and care, and even just being near that makes you feel good, doesn't it? The YMCA is good for my soul, people. I'm so glad this place is here and has the mission it does. It really is a great place.

We have toured many centers over the years and often left feeling uneasy or unsure. Celebree School of Newton was the first place where that anxiety simply wasn't there. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt warm, lively, and genuinely welcoming. What immediately stood out was how hands-on everyone was. The owners and director were not standing on the sidelines. They were actively engaging with the children, getting down to their level, playing, laughing, offering high fives, and making real connections. Seeing leadership interact with my child so naturally made a huge impression on me. The biggest moment for us came during the tour. My child, who normally clings tightly to me in new environments, stayed behind in the classroom with teachers and another child while I walked the building. That has never happened before, and it spoke volumes. Since starting, drop-offs have been surprisingly smooth. My child is comfortable, settled, and confident enough that he barely notices when I leave. The onboarding process was thoughtful and thorough. The staff took time to truly get to know my child, his personality, his needs, and what helps him feel regulated and happy. They allowed him space to explore, move, and be himself, including time in the gym to run and release energy. That flexibility and patience are exactly what we were hoping for. Safety is another major strength. The building is secure, with cameras and controlled access, and the tall fencing around the campus is a huge reassurance for families with children who like to wander. Knowing that outdoor walks and movement can happen safely within the campus makes a big difference. The location is also a bonus. Having the YMCA and Excel Gymnastics right next door is incredibly convenient and offers great options for activities as our child grows. For a parent who has spent years feeling tense during daycare tours, Celebree has been a refreshing change. The teachers are experienced, attentive, and calm, and it shows in how the children respond to them. This has been a positive, confidence-building experience for both my child and me, and I'm truly grateful we found this school! It is worth every penny!
